Meet Guest Design Team Member Gabriella
Hi!!
My name is Gabriella and I live in Alberta snowy Canada. I have 2 grown loving children whom all put up with my madness. I have been a Real Estate Assistant for the past 18 years. I’ve been scrapbooking for 14 years and enjoy every second of it! I get inspiration from color, a fabulous photo, online galleries, love magazines and blogs. I’d say my style is shabby, funky and fun. To narrow down my favorite product is impossible, because I love them all!! Bring on new products! I can never wait to get my hands on them. I do love ink, chipboard and paint! Scrapbooking allows me to relax, get comfy in my scraproom with a coffee and to let the creating begin! I love creating. I can’t get enough of this evolving art. Scrapbookers are the nicest people out there and I have met so many wonderful ladies. Stop by and say hi.
My blog addy is http://www.madscrappertoo.blogstop.com/
Thanks so much for giving me this fabulous opportunity!

March Green Challenge by Kathryn
Design Team Member Kathryn submitted this layout for the March GREEN Challenge. She said:
Hi everyone, here is my March ‘Green’ page. I had these photos just waiting for this challenge – Emma and the Green Hat! On holiday in Scotland last year, we made a trip to a chocolate factory, where Emma had the chance to make – and taste along the way! – a lovely chocolate and sweetie slab and a chocolate cat. But she loved the green hat the most, in fact we still have it and she still puts in on when we bake at home! The papers are Bo Bunny Peacock Lane and I’ve used the Tim Holtz tattered florals die, idealogy ticket and letter trinkets and some bling!
Love
Kathryn

Hello, here is my first submission to SOS challenge! I have created this page with the March Burlap & Buttercups kit that included lots of gorgeous green papers from Basic Grey. Prompted by your challenge, I used them to create this page about my niece's baptism. Pairing the green with hot pink allowed me to create a pretty feminine page.

March GREEN Challenge by Elizabeth
Design Team Member Elizabeth submitted this layout for the March GREEN Challenge. She said:
This is my favourite spring photo of the year – love snowdrops. The white base is sprayed in patches with two shades of green Cosmic Shimmer Mist. The papers are from K & Company’s Flora & Fauna collection, and Papermania’s Secret Garden ... this last has been in my stash for a couple of years at least. The photo is matted on to a brown floral paper and the fern leaves, bird on apple blossom, rose spray and the letters for the word green were fussy cut from the Flora & Fauna DP. The rest of embellishments, Prima and Wild Orchid Craft flowers, lace and pearl trim and ribbon are all from my stash.
Finding snowdrops this spring proved to be difficult – we have had a warm winter which fooled the snowdrops into an early show so by the time we went looking we were told we were too late. It was, therefore, a lovely surprise to find this little clump during a walk in nearby Culzean Castle Estate. Snowdrops are best planted ‘in the green’ – that is straight out of the ground or pot, hence the layout title. Planting bulbs is less successful. Knowing this I was really tempted to dig up this wee clump and bring them home – however, it’s against the law here in the Scotland to do that. Instead, I have this lovely photograph and layout as a constant reminder of their fresh loveliness.

Here is my Green Challenge this month on a layout I did for a friend, while her daughter was at summer camp. I found this incredible die cut of a cabin which I thought was perfect for this and I used lots of green cardstock and my Cricut & Gypsy to cut out the title and use the negative space and then added some more green trees- very simple and clean. I love and look forward to the monthly challenges at Scrap your Stash-

The Scrap Our Stash green challenge for March made me think about my family's trip to 4-H camp. Did you know that the 4-H symbol is a green cloverleaf? Here are the first and last layouts of a five-layout (10-page) set of layouts of our trip to 4-H camp in 2010. That's right, our entire family went to 4-H camp! My husband and I were chaperones while our daughters enjoyed camp. It was so much fun for all of us! Because I had so many photos, I chose to put most of them in photo pocket pages to make it easier to preserve the photos and record our memories. I also used a (retired) scrapbook kit with four premade layouts and adhesive artwork. I had to add my personal touches with stamping too. All of my materials/supplies are from Close To My Heart. If you'd like to see the rest of our camp fun, visit my blog at http://inkyscrapper.blogspot.com/.
Thanks for looking and letting me share my family's fun and memories.

March Green Challenge by Ren-Yi
Good morning, folks! This is going to be a wonderful Saturday, because today is my friend's baby shower. I have been busy as a bee prepping a bunch of things for her and her husband, and am loving this complete Baby Zoo Animals theme that this party has going!
At Scrap Our Stash's March Challenge we are creating things around the theme Green. Let's switch gears for a second and talk baby shower...My friend loves all things cute, but is not a pink fan. So even though she and her husband are expecting a lil baby girl, I decided to go with classic colors, such as green and yellow. Here is a sneak peek of the baby shower cards:
I alternated yellow with green and green with yellow on the invitations, varied up the little zoo animals stamped onto them, and kept the text the same. Here is a little collage pic of my supplies (and supply list) Stamps: (Join Us) Waltzingmouse Stamps; (Sarah Phelps Collection - Noah's Ark) Impression Obession Paper: (Perfect Basics Card Stock - Lemon Zest, Spring Moss; Stamper's Select Vellum) Papertrey Ink Ink: (Memento - Tuxedo Black, London Fog) Tsukineko Embellishments: (Bubbles Edger Punch) EKSucces; (5/8" Saddle Stitch Ribbon - Ripe Avocado) Papertrey Ink
I always prototype a card first, before I go into mass production mode. And since I want to go with a graphic look, I decided to stamp off most the animals in grey and put one of the zoo animals in front center.
The trim were cut out first, then the edge punched, lastly stamped on with the invitation from the Join Us Waltzingmouse Stamp set with again London Fog and Tuxedo Black to mimic the graphic effect of the animals. The ribbon is just a fun little touch to put a little bit of accent into the whole design. Here an up close look...
The inside has a little cute invitation poem that I came up with on one of my drives down to Maryland. It is printed with a laser printer on Vellum for a little bit of fanciness and glued carefully into the inside...
Details on the invitation poem and party favors will have to be posted up later on my blog... In the meantime, check out the Scrap Our Stash's March Challenge. You have until the end of the month to get your inspirations in. What green things is tickling your creative mojo?

March GREEN Challenge by Penny
Here is another GREEN layout from Guest Design Team Member Penny.
Here is the supply list:
Title: Buddy wants his tractor to be John Deere Green
Journaling reads:
After push mowing our yard for years, no one was happier than Buddy to finally get a riding mower.
1 1/2- sheets yellow cardstock,
1 1/2 - sheets of green cardstock
Creative Imagination - Heritage logos #2692708211 (this is the John Deere stickers
2" Marvy Uncida punch - this was the large circle inside the large tire on the die cut
1" McGill circle punch - this is the small circle inside the smaller tire on the die cut
Tractor die cut - green
Tractor eyelet - Eyelet Outlet
Making Memories - Little Letter stickers green - 16025
Garden plant stake - this is really for marking where you plant items in your garden
Assorted brads
2 - yellow buttons, one large, one small
White thread and needle
Wrights rick rack - 116402 Emerald green 44
Black sharpie marker
Black Gel pen
Lawn mower sticker -- unknown, but I think I took it from a children's coloring book
4 leather photo corners - Making Memories
I usually don't paper piece much but the secret to this tractor die cut, is that all the black areas on this die cut, were actually colored with a black Sharpie marker, and not paper pieced. The yellow pieces are yellow cardstock. If you try this on your own be sure to color the die cut BEFORE gluing it on your layout.

He Love's me, he love's me not....
This was a photo I took the day my daughter Sequita was married. She is holding her daughter Madison, who
unbeknownst to her mother, was tearing apart her bouquet while she wasn't looking. The tiny lace flowers around this photo, were actually cut from a little girls hair bow. The clear flowers on the title were meant to be used to hang a mirror. The rose applique on the bottom of the page, I had in sewing collection for years before it made it to this page. The journaling reads: While Sequita was busy smiling for the camera, Madison was having fun picking apart her bouquet.

Design Team Member Ange submitted this layout for the March GREEN Challenge. She said:
I choose to go green with my layout. I grabbed this cute photo of my little guy sleeping in his hiding spot, used lots of border punches on some green patterned paper scraps I had and added some Pink Paislee banners for my back ground.
I knew where I wanted my title but couldn't find a good place for my journaling which is why it ended up behind my photo. Then I added some tape from Bazzill Basics, a pp scrap to the journaling for a "pull" tag, candy dots to the title and outlined the top portion to make it easier to see. I've always loved the look of a monochromatic layout.

masking and painting is somethng rather new and also painting first with gesso and then with acrylic paint over it.

gardening where families can have a little space to grow flowers,
vegetables and herbs.

March GREEN Challenge by Elizabeth
Design Team Member Elizabeth submitted this card for the March Green Challenge. She said:
For the March challenge I decided to celebrate spring with a collage style card using one of my favourite colour combinations - shades of greens and lilacs.
I know it looks as though I've just dipped into my stash and pulled out a few items and thrown it together but, not so :) My starting off point was a new IndigoBlu stamp, March hares boxing/frolicking ... very evocative of spring. The rest of the card was inspired by Jane Millard’s article on making collage cards (in the January edition of Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine). The combination of collage and shabby chic style really appealed to me, especially as, by using bits and bobs from my stash mountain, it doesn't have to 'blow the budget'.
Hope you like,
Elizabeth

March GREEN Challenge by Sarah
...aaaand it's another 'Lucky' Layout!
Why mess with a great theme? lol
The pictures for this layout were taken over (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend in 2011 at a local Apple Orchard. Every year we go to pick apples on the last day it's open. Thanksgiving Monday = 1/2 price pick-your-own! yum. We (read: my boyz) also do the corn-maze and hay-jumps, this year due to health issues I had to sit out and wait. While sitting in the field, poking around I found 3... 4 leaf clovers. Must be *some* fertilizer they use! ;O)
Background paper is K & Co which 'luckily' matched the Little Yellow Bicycle 'Lucky Me' stuff I had bought to do our wedding album. Of which I have maaany dupe, trip and many more-lacates. The stripe with the sentiment and diamonds is part of a LYB 12X12 patterned sheet. Lucky and Lucky Me 'signs' are Clear Cut foil accents. Strip of clover across is a sticker, cut to go around the sentiment stripe.
Was thrilled to be able to work one of the actual pressed and dried clovers into the layout. I started with a round LYB journal block, layered round stickers over top then after cutting the clover to fit in the 'hole' I coated the inner circle in 3D Crystal Lacquer. This was left to dry for 2 days because it's laid on THICK to create a bubble look. Better safe than sorry!
Final touches were stick-on gold braid, part of an auction lot I got of vintage sewing stuff and a few Gem stickers along the sentiment stripe.
Isn't it great when Mother Nature provides the embellishments? Now I ask you, What's more GREEN than that? huzzah!
