DT of the Month, Ange Again :)
I have another project to show you today that is brought to us from our DT member of the month, Ange. Here it is!
Deb♥
This is my youngest getting into trouble, he's a professional at only 3! Proud mama here. lol The title die-cut was the inspiration for this whole page. I knew I had these photos of my son breaking into the presents early and pulled them out to make this adorable layout.
I did a lot of layering, doubled up on some of the elements by fussy cutting the exact same ones from another paper and then adding them to this with foam adhesive. I also had fun doodling, distressing, inking and using a little glossy accents and Stickles to glitter things up. More details and photos on my blog. http://scrappingcompulsion.blogspot.com/

Circle Around by Ange
Traditions make the holidays so warm and inviting! Check out what Ange has for us!
Deb♥
I found a really fun sketch to help me with this month's circle challenge from Nuts About Sketches blog. Then I grabbed this photo of my older three posing with the tree their dad always makes sure they have in their room. It's one of the things he loved about his childhood, so he gets one for them to decorate. :)

Circle Around by Tamara
We have another Circle around layout toinspire you this month. This time by DT member Tamara :)
Deb♥
I started this layout on shamrock pattern paper to give the Irish feel of visiting the Causeway. I used circles as an embellishment across the top of the page as well as to name the people in my photos. I also used tiny brads (more circles) down the side of the Causeway information sheet. I love how the circles give such a finished look to my page. Thanks for looking!

Circle Around by Wendy C
Wendy C REALLY knows how to take on a circle challenge! See?
Deb♥
From Wendy C: Well, Deb asked for circles and that's what I did! I had these really cool circles stickers and buttons stickers from Reminisce sitting in my stash. So I added a gazillion of them and them used my circle cutter on a bunch of miscellaneous Christmas pictures. Is that enough circles for ya? Have a great day!!

Circle Around by Elizabeth
Way to dig into your stash Elizabeth and find something beautiful crying out to be used!
Deb♥
Hi Everyone, I was sorting through and reorganizing my paper stash recently, and all the while thinking about this month's challenge to use circles in a layout, when I rediscovered this sheet of beautiful patterned paper from The ScrapCake, My Private Happiness - Happiness In The Air. The floral circles in the design were perfect and this photo, of a much younger me taken some twenty-two years ago, was just right too. I used a saucer, it was just the right size, as a template to cut round the photograph. All the materials for the clusters came from my stash, only the title letters are new - I never seem to have suitable letters when I want them. This page will probably end up in the Family History album to be seen by my great-grandchildren one day ... wonder what they will think of those padded shoulders! Circle Around by Karen
I am loving how Karen has put her spin on this challenge! It reminds me of a color wheel!!!
Deb♥
My LO is called "so very lovely Thumbelina" when we were away in France in June Nancy found a tiny doll's dress at the house we were staying. She put it on her thumb and drew a little face on to make her own Thumbelina. I thought it was so cute I had to take a photo. I thought the papers on my LO went nicely with the colours in the photo.

DT of the Month, Ange
This month Ange is our DT member of the month! I look forward to showing off more of her work that I know you will love as much as I do :)
Deb♥
It's getting to be that time of year and if you haven't already gotten your family photos done, you're probably looking into scheduling one. Every time we do a family shoot we end up with many "out-takes" before we get the "good" photo. But often I love the out-takes almost as much as the photo I'm after. It's all about the little moments, isn't it? So this layout has the "good" family photo that I used for Christmas cards last year, along with some of the funny photos that preceded it.
This time of year can be fairly hectic and busy. I used a sketch for this layout from http://www.nutsaboutsketches.blogspot.com/ it really helps the process along. If you've never tried a sketch, you should and if you have, now you have another fun site to get free sketches from. More details and pictures on my blog: http://scrappingcompulsion.blogspot.com/

Circle Around by Debbie
Sweetness by Debbie!
Deb♥
When I found out this month's challenge was to use circular elements, my mind started racing. I love working with circles, and the possibilities are endless. I decided to get out my trusty circle punch and started punching away at some My Mind's Eye scraps I had in my scrap box. I pulled out my last bits of the Follow Your Heart collection and went to town. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Big circles, little circles, you name it! It's all a ton of fun!

Reintroducing Charlotta!
Some of you may remember Charlotta from Sweden, aka LaVikinga. She's back on the scene and making beautiful art!
Here is her Circle Around Layout that is so full of color andwhat she has written about it!
Deb♥
Hi all Scrap Our Stash readers;
I might be new to some of you but I have been busy with family
matters and have had a break for a while! Now I'm back for this
month's challenge with round elements.
In this case I have cut pictures with Spellbinders dies and placed
them in the empty spaces after having sprayed a cardstock with
doilies in different colours. That was an experiment to see how it
would look like; what do you think?
Other elements are scalloped journaling spots from Jillibean Soup,
buttons and some brads, too. The pictures were taken in the gardens
of the Chinese Pavilion this summer when the gardeners organized
a special exhibition with a lot of beautiful flowers and dancers.

Circle Around by Sarah
Hi Everyone! Sarah has a challenge layout for us today for Circle Around. Ready to see? Here she is!
Deb♥
I was late getting my page in *hanging head in shame*... The moving gremlins have been playing many tricks. My circle cutters got packed, even though I <swear> I didn't pack them. Opened 1/2 my packed Studio moving boxes and they were nowhere to be found.
Then my printed pictures vanished and magically reappeared 2 weeks later.
~curious~
My (late) page is about the wonderful opportunity we had to visit a friends farm the Monday of (Canadian) Thanksgiving Weekend. Our 4 boys all got a chance to try Ax Throwing for the 1st time. My eldest, Arthur, is front and center for this lay-out.
Journaling reads:
1...2...3... THROW!!!
*Beautiful fall day spent at the Buchanan Farm... The Boys were thrilled to try Ax Throwing. Arthur is a natural !!!!*
I ended up going very 'old school' on the circles for this layout, Read: everything is hand-cut!
Was at a small local crop and no one else had a circle cutter there either, so I grabbed the only things I could find to use as guides. Traced a wide circle around a Styrofoam plate for the biggest circle, when I cut that out and it was a wee lopsided BUT so was the log-slice target the boys were using. huzzah! I meant it be that way (uh-huh...) really. :) The blue circle was an exact tracing of the plate (much better form), the next white circle was traced on a large tin of Prima flowers and the red was the inside of a roll of adhesive.
Really wanted it to look like the target they used so I dragged a light brown ink pad down the 'target' before attaching it to the backing to make the wood cracks.
Also roughed up the background paper with sand paper and ink.
This month's mini-themes for me is 'mother-of-invention and rustic', lol.
Added a 2nd picture with a close-up of Arthur and the target so you can see what I was going for.

Hello and Welcome to SOS!!! Today I am sharing my take on the SOS Circle Challenge. I had so many ideas for this challenge but was inspired by a sketch from Sketch Savvy! So glad to get one more old Christmas photo completed. We would love to see how you use circles on a layout! Make sure you check back daily for more DT and member inspiration! Happy Holidays!!!

Karen's
I love Karen's layout and how she had embellishments peeking out from the top of the photo. I also love how she created her title to the side. I focused on those two elements of her design and came up with a layout I am very happy with! This was an excellent layout to Pagerize! Thanks Karen!

Circle Around by Haley
What I have learned to really enjoy about Haley's layouts is that she is not afraid to put together a 2pager which is rare these days, I think. She has yet another of her pieces here today with lots of fun circles :)
Deb♥
Haley told us:
In some ways it feels like we've come full circle from playing dress up to getting dressed up! Our older daughter is a freshman in high school, so we are experiencing many "firsts" this year. Here she is at her first high school dance, Fall Ball. The pink and gray combo fit her dress and photos perfectly, and I was able to use up lots of my retired stash (mainly from Close To My Heart). I used a large Marvy scalloped circle punch to create my large circles and then nested smaller circles inside for journaling. If you'd like to see more, stop by my blog at http://inkyscrapper.blogspot.com.

Meet our Guest Designer, Donna Woods!
I have known Donna for several years through various places/projects and I have come to appreciate her layouts for the love she puts into them. I am glad to have a spot here on SOS for her and look forward to us working together :)
Here is a little about her and her smiling face :)
My name is Donna Woods and I am Fiskateer #6036. I have been scrapbooking for about 11 years. I also enjoy mixed media projects and painting, but scrapping is my real passion. I am married to the love of my life. My 3 children are grown and I have 4 lovely Grandbabies, 3 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 Prairie Dogs, and a Tonkinese kitty.
Here is her Circle Around Layout and what she wants us to know about it...

quarters for each petal. They are topped with round buttons and little
circular Enamel Dots are also added. The paper and embellishments are

This was a great page to scraplift. I love all of the randomness across the top. I used this funky picture of my boss in a crazy hat. I also used washi tape on the bottom left hand corner as well as across the bottom. I loved the random embellishments that rounded out this fun layout. I would love to use this lift again. It was fabulous! Thanks Karen for your expertise and example.

Circle Around by Tammy
Ohhhhh I am glad that my challenge this month caused Tammy to dig into her cutting stash! She created a beauty!
Deb♥
I love layouts with circles, I even bought a large circle cutter (and paid a lot for it!) Problem is I always forget about it, so I was very excited about this month's challenge. These are pictures of my daughter when she was a couple years old. She found a roll of Christmas wrapping paper and decided to have some fun! I used all kinds of circles in the layout, from the circle papers to the bottle caps and buttons!
