"Merry Christmas" Layout by Brenda

Happy Monday everyone!!!
I hope you have enjoyed this season's festivities and ready to get your scrap on!

It is my turn to share the layout I created inspired by this month's
Sketch Challenge
Loved that the "Stash" element of the Sketch Challenge for this month was to use up some of the older product in your stash.
Well, it's that time of year to make room for some of the upcoming CHA releases and the scraps and papers I had left  from WRMK's "Peppermint Twist" 2011 collection, were perfect for these sweet photos of my great-nephews.
I had to scale down the elements of the sketch to enable me to use the large 12 x 12 die cut, which worked out just fine.
Of course I loved working with the  sketch, mainly because it was quick and easy and the other reason, I designed it! LOL

Here is another look at the sketch

And remember you have until 11:59 PM (PST) tonight to create a layout inspired by one or both of our challenges for a chance to win this month's prize.
For each challenge you complete you will earn an entry into the random prize drawing for a chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to shop at

Enjoy the rest of your day and I hope you have a very good week!

"Sweet Treats with Friends" Layout by DT Steffanie

Today's festive inspiration is the awesome work of DT Steffanie,
inspired by our
Steffanie shared this about the sketch and her layout:
"I really enjoyed working with the angles in this sketch. Although I ended up eliminating the middle angled cut, I did this primarily because I changed my photo orientation to horizontal and added a third photo space (occupied by the invitation). By covering more territory, I felt that additional angled cut would've been lost in the background anyway. I kept the upper right tag element but changed it to some banner strips. I repeated this in miniature on the left side of my page beneath the invitation. I had fun digging into my stash for some less used items (ribbon, border punches, tiny type letters) and also including my fave---the tiny wooden stars! The glitter snowflakes came from a recent RAK. I think they make a nice festive addition to this page!"

Steffanie, we are excited that you will be returning and looking forward to working you for another term!   Thank you so much for your support and dedication to Scrap Our Stash!

Today's featured layout is this gorgeous Christmas themed page created by DT Nicole,
 inspired by our
Here is what Nicole shared about the sketch and her reveal:
"This original and trendy sketch was very challenging for me, but I had a lot of fun playing around with the design to make it my own. Being that it is so close to Christmas, I decided to use up some older Christmas stash to make room for the new. I had won the beautiful City Sidewalks collection from Pink Paislee 2 years ago and never got around to using it yet, can you believe it?! I think I found the papers so pretty that I just couldn't bear to cut into them. Well, I decided that it was now or never! Happy Holidays to everyone!"

"ONO!" Layout by DT Claire

Today's Sketch Challenge inspiration is the awesome creative work of DT Claire!

Here's the December Sketch
Click HERE for the details of the challenge

And here is what Claire shared about the challenge and her reveal:
"I love this challenge, because I LOVE clearing out stash. I finished my stash of Basic Grey Persimmon papers. I managed to complete 12 layouts and pocket page spreads with the collection. While I LOVE this paper collection and will be sad to see it go, I love that I now have room for new collections. I also used up my cork pieces that I've been using all year.

Ono is Hawaiian for delicious. My hubby decided to make spam mutsubi (a local appetizer in Hawaii) for a party. First time for either of us to make these so I had to document the results. Not only were they delish but they ended up being the hit of the party.

For more details, please visit my blog:Three Waters Creations
I can't wait to see what you do with the sketch and your stash."

Here is what Dulcinea shared with us about her layout and the challenge:
"First of all, I want to say how great it was to be on this team and be inspired by all the layouts I saw from you girls, during the past 18 months.

Now, it's time to take some of your old stuff and make a layout!
I used some of my older stash to create a layout about small things in my scrap time and room.
I used the sketch, but for the background I used strips and four pictures.
I think my layout is very inspired by the sketch, despite the changes I made.
Now, it's your turn!
Use the sketch for your next layout!"

"This is what AWESOME' Looks Like" Layout by Rochelle

Hello All
Today's featured layout is a  super fun layout created by Rochelle, inspired by our
The colorful products she used are perfect for her photos:
Here's the sketch
Click HERE for details on the challenge:
Here is what Rochelle shared about her reveal:
"I am so happy that I finally scrapped these photos from the Scrap Society crop back in March. It was a Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory theme and the colors were not my favorite to scrap. I don't have much purple in my stash because that is my least favorite color! lol But I had to get this collection when my friend was purchasing it not knowing what I would use it for. I was so happy to realize that it was perfect for my Willy Wonka photos!

Although not my favorite layout…. It is a fun layout and perfect for the theme - Willy Wonka! I stayed almost true to the sketch, but I didn't have the right patterned paper for the last triangle and instead of trying to force it… I left it out and feel comfortable with my layout."

Product used: My Mind's Eye Jubiliee collection and Lawn Fawn twine.

This is a really easy sketch and comes together pretty fast, and the best part, you get to pull out anything from your stash to create your page.
I hope you get a chance to play along with us this month!

Have a SCRAPTABULOUS day and make sure you return tomorrow for more Design Team inspiration inspired by our

December Anything Goes Challenge by Kathy

My December craftyness has been lacking so the Anything Goes Challenge was perfect for me. I did make this decoration for my door at work. The tree is actually made from the yellow pages that were in my recycle bin. The angels were from Christmas Pasts. I was going to add Goodwill to men - but I knew everyone that knows me would get the pun!

Now it's your turn to take the December Anything Goes Challenge. Just complete an ANYTHING project and email a picture of your project along with a description to Scrappinpsycho@live.com

All submissions will be posted to The Scrap Our Stash blog and on December 31st a winner will be chosen, and given the opportunity to be a Guest Design Team Member for the month of February. This challenge ends at midnight central time on December 31st.
