This is what Kate says about her layout:

"I was inspired by the "lightness" of the inspiration photo and the white with teal so I tried to keep the feeling light and airy. I have no problem adding bling and so I trolled around my gold stash and my PL cards, mixed them with a dollar store snow ornament. Convinced my kids to do a wintery photo shoot this year and that made me super happy!!"

"I just LOVE this challenge. 

I was first inspired by the colours of the photo. And then after I took a look at it a little longer, those yummy things on the photo inspired me to scrap about our Christmas cookies that we make every year during the advent season.  

To complete the challenge, I grabbed some blue, grey and brown papers from my stash. All of them are from American Crafts collections.

And I also used some sequins to give the layout some sparkles."

"I pulled the inspiration for this layout from the drinks, and the colors (white, blue and silver) in the inspiration photo. 

I used some of my January 2014 ScrapRoom Kit Club stash...."Timbergrove" by Fancy Pants and a sketch by Audrey Yeager ~ My Scraps and More to create my page. And to complete the "Sparkle" element of the challenge, I placed rhinestones in the middle of the snowflakes and in the center of the bow and added the two rhinestone circles. 

I know it is a busy time of the year, but I hope you all get a chance to play along with this challenge and share with us what inspires you from the beautiful inspiration photo.

"What a Yummy Photo Inspiration! So many different ways to interpret and inspire. I love the color combo Gold, Blue, and White with a touch of Brown.  I pulled out last year's Pink Paislee Snow Village collection to create this layout. I am still waiting for photos from a friend of last year's New Years Eve party and I am hopeful that I will get them before the new year.  I added lots of sparkle to this layout using Heidi Swapp color shine in gold and blue along with gold sequins. For a touch of brown, I added heart wood veneers as well as modeling paste using a star stencil for a "snow-like" effect.  I cannot wait to see your interpretations of the photo inspiration. Happy Holidays!"

"Winter is one of my favorite seasons to scrapbook as I love the shine and sparkle that usually comes with snowflakes, and goodness knows we have plenty of those where I live in eastern Canada! Looking at the image inspired this layout featuring a picture of my boyfriend and I being all warm and cozy during a sunny Winter stroll which, obviously, ended with a hot cup of cocoa with marshmallows - yum! I wanted to bring out the beautiful colors of the image so I used one of my all-time fave Bo Bunny collections, Snowfall, with its glittery papers along with metal trinkets and glitter-coated brads from the same line. I also added circles inspired by the christmas ornaments and the cups on the photo. A perfect Winter layout for a perfect Winter day! Here's to hoping that you will play along this month!"

"Yummy mood board! First I was inspired by the color, which is perfect for the outfit of my daughter, and also the circles on the cup and ornaments, so I grabbed some blue and brown paper from different manufacturer and distress the edges and inked them using tim holtz distress ink, and took out this cork stickers from studio calico for my circles and I also used Heidi swap small circles stencil on my background with tim hotls distress ink, then I finally used this blue swirl bling from my stash and also added some sequins for more sparkle!.

"This challenge was a little tricky for me, tryin to stay within the color scheme, but I accomplished!

This layout is a photo of very few of some of my great scrapbook buds at the Ontario Expo this past October. The theme was Masquerade....very fun! I have met some very awesome ladies in the scrapbooking industry and I am so proud to have most of them as great friends today! We always have a blast when we are together!

Today I am sharing with you all my layout I created based on the

I really love this WRMK/Teresa Collins collection! I couldn't wait to use it and this

photo inspiration below was perfect for it:

So obviously the colors from this photo inspired me.   Then the little gold and greenish balls inspired me to use pearl swirls on my layout.  I added rhinestone arrows at the top of the page for the "anything that sparkles" part of the challenge.

"The first thing the picture inspires me was its colors. I was excited to try to mix blue, grey and cream/brown to do something sweet. I have these pictures of my sweet niece and I want to try to do something sparkle. I begin with the background using gesso, mask and glitter to do butterflies. During the layout I use a little bit of pink, what I like on this kind of challenge is you begin with an idea, but many other ideas can happen along. Hope you like my layout and be inspired to play along us!"

Hello Crafters and Welcome to December!!!

We have such wonderful inspiration from our Design Team.  To start off the month, Steffanie brings us this beautiful winter wonderland layout:

This is what Steffanie said about her the challenge and her layout, 

"The fluffy white stuff on the tray of the inspiraiton photo made me think of snow. We don't get snow very often where I live so when we were blanketed in white fluffy-ness this past February, it was a memorable occasion! It's just so beautiful...so perfect...so pure...so quiet. I love snow! 

For this layout, I misted the background first to get that snowy feel going. I continued the feel of falling snow by adding snowflakes and (for the sparkle factor) some sequins. I chose silver washi and a silver journaling pen to give the page that extra shine. I'm very pleased with how it all came together!"

"I'm thrilled to be asked to be guest designer here at Scrap Our Stash 

I was born and raised in Northern Ireland but now live in Alaska with Dan (husband of 17 years), son Nathan (16), daughter Lauren (14), 3 cats - Athena, Meow and Deshka and a Chesapeake Bay retriever Willou.  I have been scrapping since 2004.  I mainly scrap paper pages and cards but also dabble in digital scrapping and canvases.  I would say my primary style is bold and graphic although I also mix up my styles frequently. I  love to think outside the box, to add unique elements to my page and a little tongue-in-cheek humour. "Home Is Where Your Heart Is..."

Here is what Jenni shared about her layout:

"Happy Birthday Scrap Our Stash! What a fun year and this one looks to be shaping up nicely too...You guys deserve a celebration! 

My contribution to the celebration is to provide the sparkle & glittery bling from CANDLES! I would love to say this was challenging to me or my stash, but there is SO much gold and glitter in my craft room, even Tinkerbelle would be jealous! I used gold embossing past to add some stars to this lovely cloud paper. I also cut my title on the Silhouette from gold Pow! paper and used red Stickles for the heart. I had a couple pieces of gold glitter chipboard from Crate Paper and MME that I layered under my photo. I misted this sweet hot air balloon in gold Color Shine and finally sprinkled around some red and gold sequins and glitter dots!!

I am sure I could have gotten some more in there somewhere! I can't wait to see everyone's pages for this challenge and all of them!!"
