Welcome to my Tic Tac Toe post for December and a fabulous challenge with a Christmasy theme.

I have used the right hand vertical row of Ribbon, Something Gold and Sequin to Scrapbook a photograph of Amelia-Ann after one of her messy colouring sessions where she ends up with more pen on her than the paper.

Welcome to my Tic Tac Toe post for November and a fabulous challenge with a fall theme.

I have used the right hand vertical row of 

Brown, Burlap and an Oval 

to Scrapbook the photographs of Amelia-Ann playing with a paddle in Auckland Creek at the start of this years Harbour Festival Raft Race.

I love using Burlap on my layouts and the Prima St Tropez collection was perfect for using Brown and Burlap together. I have used a scalloped oval as a background for my title – Lovely Smile.

"Hello there SOS Friends!
Alicia here sharing my DT Inspiration for this months Sketch and Word Challenge. I have kept fairly true to the sketch using photographs of my youngest daughter in the cart we use to get from the car to work each day.
The stash items I have used are:
L - Letter stickers
E - Enamel dots and hearts
A - Arrows
R - Resin heart
N - Netting

August Tic Tac Toe Stash Challenge

Alicia:

"I have had this photograph of Noah from last year’s Book Week waiting for the perfect papers and inspiration - so when the You Rock collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio was released I knew it was the one and then this month’s Tic Tac Toe Stash Challenge sealed the deal with the perfect inspiration. 

I have used the 
colour blue, Polaroid (frames) and hexagons. 

I used lots of layers as always using words and embellishments to express what I wanted to say about my awesome boy.

I have inked the edges of all of the elements and used the Polaroid frames over the photographs to highlight Noah’s face and hands in the traditional Yu-Gi-Oh! pose. The wooden star and arrows have been coated in Enamel Accents to give some shine to the layout and boost the presence of my feature colour – Blue.

Have fun and I hope you enjoy this challenge as much as I did….."

Today's inspiration is from our Designer Alicia! Check out her wonderful layout
inspired by the July Sketch Challenge:

Alicia said this about her layout:

"Hello again and thank you for visiting the Scrap Our Stash Challenge Blog today. Today I am sharing my take on the SOS Sketch and Word Challenge for July, which includes an awesome sketch and the word - Fireworks.

The stash items I have used for the word Fireworks are:
F - Flowers, Feathers
I - Ink (through a stencil and splattered on background)
R - Resin Flowers, Rhinestones
E - Epoxy/Enamel Dots
W - Wooden Leaves
O - Overlay (filmstrip printed)
R - Roses, Ribbon
K - Key Charm
S - Sequins, String

Wow that was a long word, which worked perfectly for my layered shabby chic layout. The photograph is of my dear friend Tricia, who we stay with when we go to Brisbane - and loves us just the way we are! Oh, and best of all Tricia is a Scrapbooker too.

I cut the timber paper apart and distressed it before putting it back together on the double frames. I have then used the ink and stencil randomly on the background before adding the layers of papers and then some splotches of shimmer inks. The photograph was added last of all after all of the embellishments which include flowers, leaves (diecut and wooden), string, key charm, ribbon, resin flowers, sequins, pearls, enamel/epoxy dots, filmstrip overlay cut into sections, diecut doily, feathers and rhinestones.
So there you have my take on the SOS July Sketch and Word Challenge, and now it is your turn to Wow us with your amazing creations……."
