After the paper tearing technique I applied and then inked the edges. I applied layer after layer and then started adding the metal and chipboard. In honor of Father's Day this month, I selected a photo of my wonderful Dad. He is the most amazing gardener! He devotes so much time, and takes such pride and pleasure in his garden! I am a very lucky daughter, as we live right next door, and I have my own personal produce stand at my finger tips!! Although these photos are of some of last year's bounty - they still ma...ke my mouth water for the first "Jersey Tomato" sandwich of the summer!!�

The two girls in the picture are my twins. I had another title in my mind at first but I didn´t dare to use that.... (It was: Three little pigs) LOL

Scrap Our Stash is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for our next term. We are in search of Designers who are enthusiastic, reliable and committed. We welcome International, past and present designer submissions. Designers with no prior experience are also encouraged to apply.

Dates To Remember:

• Submissions will be taken until: May 30th, 2018
• New Design Team will be announced: June 14, 2018
• New Design Reveals: July 1st, 2018

SOS Design Team Requirements:

• Commit to a 6-month term: July 1 – Dec 31, 2018
• Complete 2 layouts a month (Challenges are posted 1-2 months in advance with due dates)
• Visit challenge participants blogs and leave comments.
• Maintain an active and updated blog.
• Post our challenges, events, and your projects on your blog on reveal day and link back to the SOS Blog.
• Promote SOS challenges and events on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Display the SOS “Design Team Blinkie” on your blog.
• Submit your DT reveals no later than five days before scheduled post.
• Have a Facebook account. Our Design Team Group is on Facebook and that is how we communicate with the team.

Benefits:

• A link to your blog and your photo will be displayed on the SOS blog, which has a large following.
• Your creations will be promoted through several online sources.
• You will be a part of a group of fun-loving, drama free scrappers!

"Hi crafters, I'm back again with some inspo (I hope!) for you with the blend-a-sketch challenge.

I used the large circle and title placement from the first sketch, and the quartered background plus the diagonal flow of the stars (but I used hearts) from the second sketch. 

I thought I could pretty much use up my entire stash of heart wood veneers but I may have just a *few* left lol.

I love how it turned out - purple isn't a colour I use that much but I might a bit more often now 💕

This month's challenge asks you to blend two 2 great sketches, 

and include wood veneers in your layout too! HOW FUN!!

Here is how I decided to blend the 2 sketches -

From the Left Sketch - I used the small rectangle pieces

From the Right Sketch - I used one photo, the title on the bottom left of the layout, and I replaced the star embellishments with flowers. I also included 4 different wood veneer embellishments for the added challenge too!��Here is my Layout for your Inspiration - I used a favorite photo of my wonderful parents since this month we celebrate Mother's Day and next month we will celebrate Father's Day.

I used up lots of “stash” and I hope I’ve inspired you to play along with us this month too!

"Ok, I super LOVED both of these sketches so I squished in as much of both as I could. I used washi tape, stickers and pp that I punched to look like tickets on the left to bring in that fun element from the left hand sketch and then layered up my pps and photos on the right and added some totally awesome stars. I put a banner along the bottom for the title and last I added on the wood veneer title.
