"I started scrapping shortly after the birth of our first grandchild in 2000. I love challenges and sketches and I'm always willing to try something new. I've been married to my amazing husband since 1988 and between us we have four children and five grandchildren. I retired at the end of 2016 which gives me more time for my passion - scrapping!

I am so excited to join the fabulous SOS team!

"I am so excited to join the fabulous team at Scrap Our Stash. For my first challenge, I was inspired by the collage of photos and the title placed over the sun. I cut the large sun using my Silhouette Cameo and also included a cute little puffy sun sticker."

"Hi friends! Lyne here, and I love all things paper related. I primarily create scrapbook pages, but on my blog/youtube have been known to dabble in mini albums, as well as, the occasional card. I started scrapping shortly before I met my hubby, but really fell in love after our son was born. Keeping the memories of him, and our daughter, as a babe, was/is super important to me. I am lucky enough to be a SAHM to our almost 8 year old son and 2 year old daughter who love looking through mom's albums. I hope one will end up wanting to craft with me more frequently as they get older. I can't wait to get to know you all, and see what the challenges inspire you to create."

"Mommy and Me Summer Fun"

"Hi crafty friends! So glad to be here sharing my first challenge creation with you. I had never heard of, or seen, 50 Days of Summer before this challenge. It wasn't available on Netflix, or our local Redbox, so I went and read a synopsis online. There wasn't anything obvious jumping out at me for a layout so I went super simple and used the theme Summer. This is a photo of our son and I at Sesame Place one summer. I used a sun wood veneer as one of my embellishments to satisfy that part of the challenge. Can't wait to see how you interpret the theme."

"I'm Ashley, a thirty-something from Indiana. I've been a registered nurse for eleven years. I'm getting married this summer and we have three dogs. When I'm not working or crafting, I love to be outside working in the yard or going for a run. Our dogs keep us pretty busy, but we travel as often as we can. I'm super excited to be joining Scrap Our Stash!"

"Hi, I'm Tiffany from Ashby Massachusetts! Like most of you, I wear many hats. Mom, girlfriend, papercrafter, scrapbooking event coordinator, sprinkle in a bit of chef and taxi driver...and that's me! I have been scrapbooking for 18 years, starting with a baby book for my first child. Once I started, I was hooked! I mainly scrapbook 12x12 layouts and pocket pages, and also enjoy hosting scrapbook events and teaching paper crafting at my local library. I'm thrilled to be part of the Scrap Our Stash team and look forward to making a dent in my stash."

“Hooray for Summer” 

Tiffany:

"For this layout, I hand-cut a sunburst shape out of yellow patterned paper and layered it over a sky blue water colored background. To mimic the movie poster, I printed a whole bunch of 2x2” photos that were highlights of last summer. I put my title in the center of the sunburst and had my photos coming out over the rays, creating a big summertime collage. A few epoxy stickers, sunshine embellishments, and nests of blue thread finished up the layout."

Michelle said this about her layout:

"Hey everyone. I have my take on June’s Blend a Sketch Challenge. I took the three photos and two pieces of pattern paper from the left sketch, and added it to the right sketch. I used star pattern paper and made my own star embellishments. To make the layered stars I added art crayons using the packaging technique to gessoed cardstock. I them stamped on the background and punched out two different sized stars. I then layered the pieces, adding a tiny star fussy cut from the pattern paper. Finally I machine stitched the stars together. Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait to see what you create."

"I just love these Blend-a-Sketch Challenges - So much fun!!

Here is how I blended the 2 sketches:

From the Left Sketch, I used 3 small photos, a "ric rac" paper border between the 2 base papers, torn paper, title on the upper right corner.

From the Right Sketch, I used the split base page, general paper placement, staggered photos and stars.

And I didn't forget to add Stars and Star patterned paper too!
