"Hello SOS friends! Tiffany here with my take on this month’s Golden Globe challenge. First off, I have to sheepishly admit, I have NEVER seen Thelma & Louise! I’m a huge movie buff, not sure how this one slipped by me, but now that I’ve scrapped a page inspired by the movie, I guess it’s time to fix that.

Anyway, I had a lovely piece of cloud patterned paper sitting in my stash that was perfect ...to mimic the sky background on the movie poster. I fussy cut a few clouds and tucked them in either side of my 2 pics. I also pulled out a couple of tools from my stash that haven’t seen the light of day in a loooong time: a Polaroid die and film strip border punch. These were both put to good use for this layout, and so fun I’m leaving on the desk to try on another project. I had a sweet little “Tuesday” journal card that I tucked under my right photo, and combined stamping and stickers to make my title. Can’t wait to see what you come up with for this challenge!"

"For the movie challenge - I decided to use "friendship" and "laughter" as my inspiration. I started with a fun photo of my friend Janice and I at one of our favorite crop weekend events! The theme was Circus, and we had a great time at the "Big Top!"
These weekends are always filled with lots of FUN and Laughter! (I'm not sure which one of us is Thelma and which one is Lou...ise! LOL!!)

I've added the word FRIENDS to the photo with some mini alpha stickers and I tucked a journaling card behind the photo.

I loved the two sketches. I did my interpret a little bit more CAS style. You know me by now.... ;-) I hope you like it and want to join us! Remember to add some sequins!

I had to do a winter page to cool me off. I think we have some heat record here in Sweden. It´s so so so hot. And there are so many fires going on in this country right now. It´s scary. Some of them are close to my village, we can smell them and see the smoke some days. The firefighters are heroes!

"This one was really a challenge for me but when I found out That flipping the sketch from the right to fit better to my pictures it was fun! "Hello SOS friends! Today I'm up with my take on July's Blended Sketch Challenge. I combined the 4 stacked photos of the first sketch with the title placement and left side vertical strip of the 2nd sketch. I printed my photos as 3x4" so I could squeeze all 4 in a grouping. Sprinkles of sequins in shades of pink were added below the journaling, above the top left photo, and next to the bottom right photo. I look forward to seeing how everyone blends these 2 sketches in their own unique ways!"

"Hi Scrappy friends! I hope you are all enjoying your summer, and that you find some scrappy time for yourself!

I've been dealing with a broken right wrist

- and can't wait to get my cast off.  

It has not stopped me from scrapping - but I can't wait to get my right hand back!! 

Here is how I drew inspiration from these 2 FUN sketches.

I used the 2 sections of the base page as inspiration from the LEFT Sketch. For the RIGHT sketch I went with the vertically stacked photos, top left "banner" embellishment, horizontal banner line and I clustered 3 flowers - as apposed to the 3 hearts in a row from the right sketch.

I used lots of "stuff" that I've had in my stash - FOREVER!! - Including Rub-ons!! Oh - and don't forget to add those SEQUINS - that is the added part of the challenge!
