"I sure do love a good challenge and this certainly was one for me!! If you've seen my previous layouts - you know that I like to use lots of "STUFF" and lots of layers. I felt a bit worried as to how I was going to handle the "grid" requirement of this challenge. Well, I have to say - I really like how this came out, and I had lots of fun with this challenge! I encourage you to give it a try and play along with us!

I used photos from our 2012 Disney Wonder Cruise to Hawaii to celebrate out 30th Anniversary. For the added "Transparency" requirement, I used an acetate overlay from the Kaisercraft Tropicana Collection.

I hope I’ve inspired you to play along with us this month!!"

"Hi all! I'm super excited to share my super bright layout with you today. I have these roller coaster ride photos of my boys so bright and crazy was pretty much perfect. I used washi tape to create my grid and added a transparency over each photo.
I have one photo where the boys put their hands up and looked like they were having fun, but the other 2 they look slightly terrified, thus the "so brave (sometimes)" comment. lol

"Hey crafty friends! Lyne here and I'm glad to be back with another piece I hope you'll find inspiring. From the first sketch I used a patterned background and also sitting my photos on a piece of striped paper. From the second sketch I took the puffy shape of the scallops and used to clouds to replicate that thought in my layout. I also used three "photos" from the second sketch...my pocket card standing in for the third photo. Some wood veneer arrows painted with yellow paint brough in the yellow from the sun sticker. Can't wait to see how you all blend the sketches!"

"Hello SOS friends! Tiffany here with my take on the Blended Sketch challenge for the month. I chose to use 3 photos and the jumbo scallop that were in the 2nd sketch, but flipped it to be horizontal like the 1st sketch. I just love that jumbo scallop element! I hand drew my circles and cut them out to make the border, using a piece of red polka dot paper I’ve had in my stash for years. I also cut a 2nd piece of that pattern paper the same size, and just flipped it to use the reverse behind the top of my photos. Looking forward to seeing your take on this Blend-A-Sketch challenge."

"I’m a huge lover of Starbucks, and love to visit Starbucks locations wherever and whenever we travel. The photos on this layout are from Starbucks Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. It was one of our Ports of Call on our 2016 Disney Panama Canal Cruise.
I used the 2 photos from the left sketch, along with different papers and washi tape behind the photos, and the placement of some of the embellishments. From the right sketch, I used the vertical placement of the patterned background papers, along with the scalloped edge - that I reversed, and used it for a journaling line.
