Candy Box - by Danielle
This candy box was created with a recycled box from previously purchased embellishments. Again, using my vast amount of scraps from kits, I pulled matching pieces to create the background for the box. I used the paper insert that came with the embellishments as my pattern. I used a square of cardstock for my background, then used the scrap stripe piece for my border. After putting the candy in a bag in the box, I closed it up, and tied it with an extra piece of ribbon. I made a tiny tag and tied it in the bow. I had a few rub-ons left in my kit, so I used one on the top of the box.

Danielle, This is too cute! What a great idea to reuse the packaging. The colors all coordinate so well with the candy. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is super creative! Way to think outside the "box"! I might have to lift this idea!
ReplyDeleteOMG...I'm sooo stealing this idea. I mean copying this idea. I see mini gifts for my son's classmates..... maybe with little toys instead of candy. oh, this would be great party favors for b-day parties too. Wow...the possiblities are endless. What a creative & inspiring idea!!!
