December Challenge by Joni

Hi...Design Team Member Joni here...  My boy had a birthday in September so, I used Teresa Collins' Celebrate line to document this new bike on his 7th Birthday.  It was a special gift since he asked family for $ instead of gifts and then combined that with his "saved" allowance money to get this really nice new mountain bike.   We wanted him to be "invested" in the bike so he'd be sure to take good care of it and not take it for granted.   We had actually already paid for the bike and the store held it so we went to pick it up on his birthday and he "paid" them...and they handed the $ right back to us!!  Hmm...I need to scrapbook that second part of the story for him for later in life ... hopefully he'll appreciate the lesson that we tried to instill.  That big circle emblishment is the name of the bike maker (Specialized)... I took a photo of the sign in the store and then just cut it out and made my own popped embellie from it!!  It also is a play on the title!!  I was trying to be clever....thought I'd point it out since sometimes things I do subtly on layouts gets lost.

Now it's your turn to take the Challenge.  Complete a project with a Birthday theme and submit it by email to scrappinpsycho@live.com.  See all the details in December Challenge below.   And don't miss our Pagerize This Challenge also going on right now.  See all the details in Pagerize This Challenge #4 below.
