March GREEN Challenge by Ange
Design Team Member Ange submitted this layout for the March GREEN Challenge. She said:
I choose to go green with my layout. I grabbed this cute photo of my little guy sleeping in his hiding spot, used lots of border punches on some green patterned paper scraps I had and added some Pink Paislee banners for my back ground.
I knew where I wanted my title but couldn't find a good place for my journaling which is why it ended up behind my photo. Then I added some tape from Bazzill Basics, a pp scrap to the journaling for a "pull" tag, candy dots to the title and outlined the top portion to make it easier to see. I've always loved the look of a monochromatic layout.

All submissions will be posted to The Scrap Our Stash blog and on March 31st a winner will be chosen, and given the opportunity to be a Guest Design Team Member for the month of May. This challenge ends at midnight central time on March 31st.
Such a sweet story and photo! All that green is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Ange; your LO is fantastic with the real monochromatic look! I love the banners (I haven't seen those and if I try to make them they never come out this even...) and the picture is sooooo cute!

I love your layout Ange! What an adorable photo. I love all the green you used and the fantastic border/banners. It's perfect you hid your journaling just like your little one was hiding. I just love everything about this!
ReplyDeleteAnge, This is awesome. Love your monochromatic theme - it goes well with the camo and your title is sooo cleaver! What a great idea to do the hidden journaling (get it) so it doesn't take away from the layout.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great page!!! Love all the green you used and the hidden journaling.

ReplyDeleteFab page, great choice of greens and the photograph is terrific ... it's a great memory to keep and enjoy. My son was often found asleep in the oddest places but sadly I didn't have the presence of mind to take photographs as a record :)
