Happy Saturday!!!
Today we have the pleasure of introducing another one of our talented designers
and you will want to see the beautiful, colorful layout she created inspire by our

Join with us in extending a warm welcome back to returning designer
Becky Springer
"I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, Jayden, and our two french bulldogs.
By day I'm a college instructor and adviser for at-risk youth. I have always been artistically inclined, drawing and painting from a young age and taking art classes throughout school. I discovered scrapbooking in 2005, but then my focus turned to other forms of creativity, such as quilting and embroidery. After taking an art journaling class this past year, I discovered mixed media and reclaimed my love of paper crafting. It sparked a renewed passion in all things scrapbooking and I happily discovered a community of like-minded folks. My approach to the craft feels different this time around, as it's messier, less refined, and more expressive. Now I'm dreaming in color, imagining new layouts, playing outside the lines, and making time for art journaling, card making, and scrapbooking every chance I get."

Becky we are excited to have you  design with us for another term.  We are definitely looking forward to all of the awesome, colorful inspiration and creations you will be sharing with us!

Take a look at Becky's bright and cheerful layout she created to share with us:
Love Wins!
Becky:
"I was pleasantly surprised to see how well my rainbowed Facebook profile photo printed and I knew I wanted to incorporate it into a layout. I enlarged and welded the background flowers together with my cameo before die cutting them on white cardstock. I wanted a watercolor effect so I painted the flowers with clear gesso. Then, I used an array of inks and mists applied liberally in some areas and lighter in others. I dug through my stash to find patterned papers to match each color. I die cut the small petals and randomly taped them behind the flowers. I finished with ink splatters and embellishments that corresponded to each color.
The items I used from my stash to represent PHOTO:
P - Purple flower, paper, enamel dots, and ink
H - Heidi Swapp color shine ink
O - Orange flower, paper, enamel dots, and ink
T - Tag, ticket
O - Odd number of photos (1)"
