April Sketch Challenge #25 ~ Guest Sketch Artist, Laura Whitaker

Hi there!
Today we are excited to reveal  our April Sketch Challenge as well as introduce our
April Sketch Artist
Laura Whitaker
Laura:
Hello! I am so excited to be a guest designer here at Scrap Our Stash, it was such an honour to be invited.
Let me tell you a bit about myself,
I am a mom to 3 boys (Chris 25, Jon 23, and Timmy 12) and a crazy Olde English Bulldogge puppy named Max! I have been married to my sweetheart (Ian) for 27 years. As well as being a homeschooler, I am a very passionate papercrafter. I have been crafting in various forms all my adult life and scrapbooking for about 15 years and loving every minute of it. I am in love with my Silhouette, and really enjoy creating my own cut files, I usually offer a couple of freebies on my blog each month.
I also run my own challenge site called Stuck?! Sketches, and am fortunate to be on the DT’s of an online and mobile store called ScrapMuch?, a kit club called Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits, and a Canadian manufacturer called Evalicious which offers embellishments, stamps and journaling cards.

And... the inspiration photo provided below:
You can use the colors, shapes, phrases, etc. just let us know in your write up what element of the photo you used as inspiration to complete your layout.
Here is the photo inspiration :

Take a look at the  fabulous layout Laura created inspired by the sketch and the photo inspiration:
Laura:
"I loved the mood board that S.O.S is showcasing in their challenge this month, the vibrant colours and geometric shapes really spoke to me. I do not often play with hot pink (being the mom of boys), so I loved adding it to my page for this challenge! I used lots of Crate papers goodies on my page as well as some other odds and ends, like the rub-ons that have been in my stash for probably ten years (yikes!).
I would love for you to visit my blog and if you let me know you were there, I will come and visit yours!"

With this month's awesome sketch, the color inspiration photo and Laura's beautiful reveal, you should be inspired to get your scrap on!

Make sure to link your layout to Mr. Linky on our side bar by April 29th 11:59 PM (PST)
