Today SOS Designer Tanti K is sharing her interpretation of our

June Book Inspired Stash Challenge

Tanti:

"I was inspired by the word Dad from the book cover. and I decided to scrap this old photo of my Dad. I struggled a little bit with the title because I couldn't separate the wood veneer part. But I really wanted to use it. At the end, I had an idea to put an arrow that pointed to the word „DAD“ between the words „BEST“ and „EVER“ and I was very happy with the result.

To complete the challenge I just used some yellow embellishments"

"My layout this time is just a quote layout. I was inspired by the picture on the book cover. Because I have just a similar photo to it. So I decided to scrap the picture nearly the same as the book cover. 

I was glad that I could finaly use up my old die cut flowers that I bought long time ago.

Tanti K:

"I was inspired by the clouds on the book cover. 

They reminded me of the picture of my son that I took from the top of the hill.

He was looking at the clouds that covered the land bellow.

I created some giant clouds out of tissue papers and vellums and to complete the challenge I added two cloud wood veneers and five cloud chipboards from Studio Calico.

"This layout is about how I used my make up bag. 

The awesome sketch is so perfect to scrap these photos and to document how I travel.

I changed the sketch a litte bit by flipping it 45° to the right so that it fits better to my pictures.

From the list I used:

List #1: Graph Paper.

List #2: Hot Pink ( Patterned Paper ).

List #3: Ink ( Distress Ink and Memento for the background ).

"For this challenge I used a photo of my mom that I took recently in a cafe, as she was in Germany to visit us last year.

I was inspired by the sweet colours of this book cover.

And to complete the challenge I added gold alphabets for my title and a gold sequin.

Hi All! 

Today we are sharing this wonderful layout from our Designer Tanti!

"The awesome design of the sketch was the perfect one to scrap these pictures of yummy things that I cooked.

First I set the photos from my Ipad using a photo collage app. Then I printed them together into a 

4 x4 size.

From the list I used:

List 1: Dear Lizzy Patterned Papers from different collections.

List 2: Ephemera ( An old book page and a Toothpick ).

List 3: Flair.

February Book Inspired Stash Challenge:

Tanti:

"As I saw the moose image on the book cover, I was inspired to scrap these old pictures. 

On the photos, I was feeding some red deer though, not moose.

To complete the challenge I added to my layout two wood veneer hearts from my stash"
