Welcome aboard Zsoka, we are excited to have you on the team and looking forward to the
fascinating inspiration you will be sharing with us!
"I am a Hungarian living in Germany with my Dutch boyfriend and our 7-year-old son.
I've been crafting ever since I remember...I tried every craft under the sun, from glass/porcelain/silk painting, bead weaving, mosaic in all form, to cake/cookie decorating and lots more. I need to craft to keep sane! Scrapbooking is my newly found hobby! I love trying new techniques, experimenting with paint. I enjoy clean as well as messy, mixed media layouts. I love to use cut files on my layouts. I don't always do but it seems the majority of times I come back to them :).
I'm honored to have been chosen as part of the SOS design team and hope I can inspire you in any small way with my layouts!"

Check out Zsoka's fabulous take on our
January Book Inspired Stash Challenge:

"Sail, Sail Away"
Zsoka:
"Hi there, Zsoka here and I am sharing my first layout with you on SOS! I am honored to be here and hope you find my work inspiring!

For the Dr. Seuss book cover inspired challenge I drew my inspiration from the colors. I am not familiar with the content of these books but I do know the illustrations and always found them so cool!
I chose a black and white background paper to resemble the famous hand sketched design of the characters. The blue and red combo always reminds me of sea/sailing themed things and as luck would have it, this year we went sailing and I still have some photos to scrap of our adventure!
I chose a cut file that reminded me of boat helms a little bit and I backed these with different blue and red papers. The photo I printed in black and white too to match the color theme. For the title I used one of my favorite thickers which I thought fit the Cat in the Hat design perfectly!
I've added some embellishments and the required white paint splatters and there you have it, my first layout! Thanks for looking! X"

And here is the challenge that inspired this fantastic Zsoka created:

Marie Claude Rodier

Marie we are excited to have you on our team and we are looking forward to all of the beautiful inspiration you will

Welcome to the Scrap Our Stash Team!
"My name is Marie Claude Rodier, aka Nini on most virtual forums.
I’m a wife to a really nice man and mom to two very dynamic and smart boys of 5 and almost 8.
We live in a small suburb near Montreal in Québec, Canada. I’m working in translation, trying to find the best French expressions and words that translate English concepts. I love to solve complex linguistic puzzles every day.

When I’m not working, I’m either cooking special recipes for my little ones or in my scrap room creating new layouts. I’ve started scrapbooking not long after my oldest son's birth, in 2008. I took a break for a few years (life could get really busy with a full time job and young kids!!!) and came back to scrapbooking in 2011.
I’ve been totally committed to this hobby ever since. It became a real passion and sometimes an obsession!"
Marie's Blog: Nini Monde

As her first SOS reveal, Marie has created this stunning layout, inspire by our

Marie:
"Here is my first layout as part of SOS DT team. I'm so proud to be part of it. smile emoticon
When I first saw the inspiration, I was immediately attracted by the colors... blues are my favorite!
Most of the time I'm using black and white pictures on my layouts, but when I saw this one in my stash, I knew it was meant to be.

I've used pastel oils, black modeling paste and white embossing powder to create my background. I've also used white gesso mixed with water to create splatters."

Inspired?

Renee:
"Hope you all enjoy my first layout with you guys!! I'm so excited to be on this Design Team!! When I saw the challenge was based off the Cat in the Hat- I had to use my cat in a festive reindeer "hat" picture! I used the white glitter splatter paint over most of the page but of course, it doesn't show! I accidentally got some on the picture so I went ahead with the "snowing" effect :)
Can't wait to see what you all come up with!!"

Design Team Introduction ~ Asa Johansson

Happy Saturday everyone!
We're pressing forward with our Design Team introductions
Our  next designer is brand new to our team!
 Please welcome aboard talented designer
Asa Johansson
Asa we are excited to have you joining our team and looking forward to the inspiration you will be creating inspired by our challenges to share with our fans.

"My name is Åsa Johansson and I´m from Sweden. I´m 39 years old or I rather say young. I live here with my hubby and our three kids (one boy and twin girls) and a dog. I work as a teacher since 16 years.
My big hobby, or maybe I may say addiction, is scrapbooking and cardmaking. I started out in 2007 when I was pregnant with our twin girls. But I see 2012 as my real beginning. That is when I started my blog and had a little more time to scrap because the life with twins was crazy in the first years...
I like to join different challenges and I´m a team member in some Design Teams. I think I developed by that.
I don´t know if I can describe my style. In cardmaking it is CAS for sure but my layouts varies. But I often use white cs as a background, many layers and bright colors. I got a Silhouette Cameo some months ago and I love to cut out things to add to my layouts.
I´m so proud to be a part of the design team here at Scrap Our Stash. I hope I can give you some inspiration during the months.
Please visit my blog if you want to see more from me.

Asa has created this adorable page inspired by our
January Stash Challenge
as her first reveal at Scrap Our Stash:

"A Dog in a Hat"
Asa:

This is my first layout for this Design Team that I´m so proud to be a member of. I hope you will find my work inspiring.

When I first saw this book cover I found it perfect for this picture of my dog with a hat. I named my layout "A dog in a hat" instead of cat. I also got inspired by the winter theme.

I´ve painted my patterned papers with white acrylic to make them a little more discreete.

I really enjoyed this challenge and I hope you will too. Looking forward to see your work!

Isn't this just the cutest page ever?  And what a wonderful twist on the challenge!
Here is a look at the challenge:

Design Team Introduction ~ Cassandra Wiscarson

Happy Friday!
Today we are excited to introduce you to our seventh talented Design team member!
Welcome back returning designer
Cassandra Wiscarson

Cassie is celebrating her second term with with Scrap Our Stash and we are looking
forward to seeing the inspiration she will be sharing with us this term inspired by
our challenges!
"I am a wife, a mom, and a scrapbooker. I love not only paper crafting, but crafting in general. I started scrapbooking back in 2005 after my husband joined the Army. My hobby has traveled with me to Germany, Washington State, Virginia and now back to Washington State. I think about scrapbooking every single day, I might be slightly obsessed, but this hobby brings such joy to my life. I love sharing my passion with others. At this point I not only do Paper scrapbooking but also Digital and Hybrid scrapbooking as well. My passion is scrapbooking. I love being able to combine my photographs with fun and beautiful supply to tell the story of my family."

Now take a look at the fantastic layout Cassie created inspired by our

"Back To Books"

Cassie:
"When I first saw the book cover for “The Cat in the Hat Comes Back” I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I then thought about my daughter’s personality and what she always goes back to and that is books. She is my little book worm and will read at least 4-6 books per week. There was also a lot of white on the cover, so I used it as my background."

Inspired by Cassie's layout?
Well here is a look at the challenge.   Why not create a layout and
link it up so we can see how this challenge inspires you:
you have until January 29th, 11:59 PM (PST) to upload your

Design Team Introduction ~ Patricia Barnett

Join with us in welcoming back talented Designer
Patricia Barnett
Patricia is a veteran and celebrating her seventh term with Scrap Our Stash
and we are looking forward to the inspiration she will be creating to share
with us this term.
"Hello my crafty friends!
My name is Tricia and I am from Sunny Southern California, mother of one beautiful daughter Breanna Nichole (6) and a brand new fury friend, Brownie. I have been creating for about 17 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I began scrapbooking right when there weren’t too many “safe” products out there to use. Since my attendance to a Scrapbook Expo it went all down hill from there! I usually reference that as my “coming out party!” Most of my projects and layouts you will see will be of my daughter as she IS the subject and focus of my life! I have met so many cool people through the world of crafting in which I am so lucky to have many of them as my friends!

I’m usually kept busy doing layouts, canvas pieces, Project Life, Art Journaling and my favorite…. Mini Books! Whatever it is I am creating I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE using embelIies! You will almost always find some BLING, Washi Tape, Paint, and most likely some doodling. =) I

Besides crafting, I love spending time with my family, friends, traveling, reading, dancing and working out. I am usually never still and always involved in something.

I am super excited to be a part of such an awesome design team here for Scrap Our Stash!
All the designers are extremely talented and I am sure you will find inspiration every time you visit!
I am totally looking forward to another term and I hope you are too!
Stay tuned to see some cool stuff!
See you around!"
Tricia

Take a look at the super cute layout Patricia created to share with you today inspired by our
January Stash Challenge

"I Love You To The Moon..."
Patricia:
"Happy New Year and thanks again for joining us for this months challenge! It was definitely a challenge for me as I discovered I do not have much blue in my stash! It may be a littlle difficult to tell in the photo, however the polka dot is a dark blue. I loved breaking out my Custom Circle Cutting System from CM, now that is digging back in my stash! I also enjoyed creating random white paintbrush strokes to add to it!

I hope you enjoy, thanks for looking and I can't wait to see what you come up with!"

Meet our fifth talented Designer,
Rachelle Olaridge
Rachelle is celebrating her second term with Scrap Our Stash and we are so pleased she will be with us another term and we're looking forward to the beautiful inspiration she will be sharing with us the next six months.
"Hi there. My name is Rachelle.I am a mother to 2 grown sons and grandmother to 2 beautiful grandchildren.
I was a 6th grade teacher for 7 years. As a result of failing health I am wheelchair bound and keeping busy is still my goal. Scrapbook is the best and rewarding therapy.

I started scrapbooking in 2008 when I viewed a friends work. My passion quickly turned into addiction for this type of artistry and I never looked back. I am very passionate about this interest. It's not just about creating albums but it is a work of art. I truly love the art of design in all aspects of life, Thus, here I am today enjoying my passion as therapy and inspiration for others. Each day is filled with being inspired, creating, providing inspiration through my work and treasuring the memories. I define my style using one word it would be Shabby Chic." I love beautifully embellished projects with lots and lots of detail. My love of flowers is reflected on most of my projects. I always have the urge to add a flower here or there.

Although this is my true style, I easily adapt my style depending on the type of project.

I love using a variety of techniques, elegant and fun elements. My style has been described as detailed, beautiful, and multifaceted. My greatest strength is attention to detail. I like to take the viewer on a visual journey of my inspirational designs.

Design Team Introduction ~ Sherri Caramico

Hello!
We are excited to introduce our fourth Design Team member today!
Please join us in welcoming back talented designer
Sherri Caramico
Sherri is celebrating her second term with
Scrap Our Stash and we are so happy to have her on our team for another term.
"My name is Sherri Caramico, I live in Northern New Jersey. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 32 years, and am the mother of 2 adult sons, and 2 young Portuguese Water Dogs. All of them are my favorite subjects! We love to travel and Disney Cruising and Disney Parks are our favorite way to vacation. I love meeting people, and enjoy photographing our journeys. I started scrapping late in my children's lives, ( about 10 years ago,) and I know I will never get "caught up." I'm okay with that, as I like to scrap what I "feel like" scrapping, and love lots of layers, textures and "stuff" on my pages.

I work full time in the corporate world and Scrapbooking helps me to relax from a busy day, and get creative. It has helped me to meet so many people that I now call my true friends. I teach classes at my Local Scrapbook Store and I enjoy inspiring others to think outside the box and encourage them just try a new technique or product. I believe there is no right or wrong, no good or bad - everyone has their own personal "art" inside them."

SPECIAL MENTION: Selected for a Heart Healthy Video for Cheerios.com about my “Passion for Scrapbooking” you can view it on You Tube “Precious Memories – Sherri” and see some of my work. (If you click on CHEERIOS tag on my blog, you can find out how this came about) It was filmed at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo too!
Here is the link to the video from 2010."

And below is the lovely vintage page Sherri created to share with us inspired by our

"Christmas 1963"
Sherri:
"I LOVE this new challenge format! At first I was a little unsure what to do - and I even thought the cat was walking on the beach! LOL! - which by the way would have been OK, since it was how I interpreted it -but I then decided to go with "Winter/Christmas," as that is what snow always reminds me of. I love the Basic Grey paper line I selected. I think it goes perfectly with the photo of my little brother and me from Christmas 1963.
I painted the 3 wooden snowflakes with white paint, to fulfill the other challenge requirement.
I hope you will play along with us this month! It was so much fun!

Here is my blog link:

Design Team Introduction ~ Tanti K

It's day three of our Design Team introductions!
Our next designer is celebrating
her fifth term with Scrap Our Stash!
Join with us in welcoming back talented designer
Tanti K
We are thrilled to have Tanti back on the team and looking
forward to the awesome creations she will be sharing with us inspired by our challenges!
"Hi scrappers, my name is Tanti.
I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In 1994 I went to Germany for my studies. There I met my husband, so I stayed for good.
Nowadays I'm a stay at home mom of two wonderful kids.
I speak Indonesian, German and English.
I've been papercrafting since I was at school.
15 years ago I started making cards for my friends and family.
2009 I fell in love with scrapbooking and I'm addicted to it since I made a vintage mini album for my mother in law.
I love working with transparency and vellum. I like creating homemade embellishments on most of my projects. My style is clean and colourful but I do also layering and splashing. Besides scrapbook pages I also love to make cards, mini albums and altered items.
I'm so excited that I could be here again for another term.
Thank you Brenda and Rochelle for letting me stay in your team.
You can see more of my creations on my blog:

or on my Facebook page"

As her first reveal for this term, Tanti has created this fabulous page inspired by our

"Unexpected Guest"
Tanti:
"Happy New Year everyone.
I hope that all of you had a wonderful holiday.
I'm so glad that I could stay on the team for another term. Thank you so much Brenda and Rochelle.
And now to our challenge.
The black and white cat on the book cover inspired me to scrap my selfie picture with this black and white cat. This cat belongs to our neighbour. But I don't know why, he always came to us.and sat all day long on our terrace. And he's kind of like it if I came out and sat with him.
To complete the challenge. I used white paint and a toilet paper roll to make the circle prints on the background."

Design Team Introduction ~ Elena Bianconi

Good Morning!
It's day two of our Design Team Introductions!
Our second designer is celebrating her third term as a Scrap Our Stash designer!
Join us in welcoming back
Elena Bianconi

Elena we are thrilled that you have decided to continue with us for another term and we are
looking forward to the inspiration you will be sharing with us for the next six months!
"I'm Elena B, 35 years old (not for long). I live in the countryside near the beautiful city of Bologna (Italy). During the day I'm wife to a wonderful man, mother of a beautiful little girl and owner of a beautiful dog. But at night when everybody is asleep, I turn into a crafter!!

I sleep very little and work so much with great satisfaction, my hands never stop working!
My relaxation is my hobby.

I started with decoupage in the nineties, passing through the lovely world of doll houses, to arrive (and never stop!) at scrapbooking and mixed media in 2009."

Elena's Blog:  Paper and Colors

Today Elena is sharing with us the amazing layout she created inspired by our
January Stash Challenge:

"Candy "Cane
Elena:
This is my favorite picture from Christmas 2015.
(Here in Italy I've never seen this book so I do not know the story).
I took inspiration from the colors of the book cover and the stripes on the hat which remind me of a candy cane.
The stars in the background are made with white paint.
Happy New Year!

And the challenge that inspired Elena's layout...
We would love for you to play along and show us how the
book cover inspires you!

Design Team Introduction ~ Steffanie Seiler

Hi there!
It's day one of our New Design Team introductions!
Scrap Our Stash has been blessed with another amazing team of talented designers,
with a variety of scrapbooking styles!
Make sure you stop by daily for the next two weeks to meet each of
these awesome ladies and to check out the fabulous inspiration they have created
to share with you, inspired by our new
Book Inspired Stash Challenge.

To be further inspired by our team members, please take some time out
and visit each of their blogs!!!

Our first designer is celebrating her fourth term as a designer with Scrap Our Stash!
Say hello to
Steffanie Seiler
"Hi! My name is Steffanie. I started scrapbooking when my oldest son was a baby---he's now 15! I also have another son who is 10. These two are my primary scrapbook subjects in addition to a golden retriever puppy, a calico kitty and, of course, everyday life.
In the early days, I was definitely a flat, non-lumpy-bumpy scrapper---I now can't imagine scrapping that way. Although I don't really dabble much in mixed media, I do need to have layers and dimension on my pages. I think I have a pretty good eye for color, balance and details. I like clean lines and don't really do messy.
My husband and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest region of the United States. My favorite season is summer. I like coffee, chocolate, pizza and wine (among other things!). Besides scrapbooking, I enjoy running and just being outdoors. I am an RN and work very part-time so that I can spend most days being home fulfilling my role as wife and mom...and have plenty of time for scrapbooking, of course!"

Welcome back Steffanie!
We are so excited to have you joining us for another term and looking forward to the inspiration you will be sharing with us.

Take a look at the fantastic layout Steffanie created inspirde by our current challenge:
"Paw Prints in the Snow"
Steffanie:
"The ladies are changing things up a bit which is great as it keeps things interesting!
My layout was inspired by the winter theme and also the colors (red, white and blue). I splattered white paint on the navy background before I got started to mimic the idea of snow falling.
I love these photos of my husband taking Toby, our 7 month old golden retriever, out for his first adventure in the snow. Sadly its the only one he has ever had as snow does not come often where we live. This particular snowfall was a pretty good one, even getting the kids out of school for a couple of days!
Now it's your turn---come play along!"

And here is a look at our challenge that inspired this awesome layout
created by Steffanie:

Thank you for visiting us today and make sure you return tomorrow to meet our next
Design Team member and she what she created to share with you!

Of course my hubby is tolerant of my obsession and he knows it keeps me happy. We live in country NSW Australia in a small town where the cherries are grown.

My scrapbooking started 11 years ago and over those years I have had many layouts in magazines here in Australia. Also I have featured in the Scrapbooking Memories Masters magazine for about 6 years, never got to the master level yet!

At my local scrapbooking shop I have been teaching classes there in all those years. I have the privilege of teaching sewing lessons to adults and children in the same business.

I have been a stay at home mum and still think it’s important to be there for my family, that stems from my Christian faith.

I find scrapbooking is an ever growing journey for me. I learn so much all the time and keep altering my style. I love sketch challenges they seem to be the plan I need to kick start me! I want to document and keep memories alive. However it just makes me feel so good when I scrapbook, I am convinced it’s essential for the mind.

I am also on the DT at Color Stories Inspiration , I thrive on challenges and love to share the results."

Thank you Wendy for being our guest this month, and sharing your awesome
work with us!

Take a look at the fabulous creation Wendy is sharing with us today
inspired by our challenge:

"Look Fun"
Wendy:
"This challenge took considerable thought! I had to use red and white stripe reflecting the hat! Blue was also essential and I could only find the right colour in my scraps, I tried hard to keep white space as this is a dominant feature too!

I found this quote from the book and thought that would guide me to the photo I needed!
Paint splatters are just fun to do so I added all colours!!!
I have added some random embellishments as Dr Suess is like that too!"

Inspired by Wendy's layout and/or our challenge?   We would love to see what
you create based on this challenge!

Thank you for stopping by and return tomorrow to meet our first
designer for this term and to see the awesome inspiration she created
to share with you, inspired by our January Stash Challenge!
