"Home Is Where Your Heart Is..."

Here is what Jenni shared about her layout:

"Happy Birthday Scrap Our Stash! What a fun year and this one looks to be shaping up nicely too...You guys deserve a celebration! 

My contribution to the celebration is to provide the sparkle & glittery bling from CANDLES! I would love to say this was challenging to me or my stash, but there is SO much gold and glitter in my craft room, even Tinkerbelle would be jealous! I used gold embossing past to add some stars to this lovely cloud paper. I also cut my title on the Silhouette from gold Pow! paper and used red Stickles for the heart. I had a couple pieces of gold glitter chipboard from Crate Paper and MME that I layered under my photo. I misted this sweet hot air balloon in gold Color Shine and finally sprinkled around some red and gold sequins and glitter dots!!

I am sure I could have gotten some more in there somewhere! I can't wait to see everyone's pages for this challenge and all of them!!"

"You might be saying that the chalkboard look has been over-done, but I still LOVE it, so much! My challenge for the Scrap-A-Stash challenge was to use a doily. I had just bought a bunch for some holiday crafting so I have plenty in my stash, that’s for sure! Most product in this layout is from We R Memory Keepers. My title is cut from my Silhouette, which I don’t use often enough.

This picture was taken on Valentine’s Day. I had, VERY LAST MINUTE, decided to join Manuel on a quick road trip to Las Vegas to watch his daughter get married. The weather was perfect for driving with the top down."

Today's fabulous inspiration is the creative work of DT Megan, inspired by our 

February Sketch with Stash Challenge:

Here is what Megan shared about her layout:

"For this layout, I scrapped a picture of my husband and I from the fall. I substituted doilies for the hearts in the sketch and added lots of layering. For the heart and arrow, I used wood veneers and colored them with chalk ink. I cut out the title and a few other elements from gold POW paper from American Crafts using my silhouette cameo. The products are mostly Maggie Holmes lines for Crate Paper."

Here is what Tanti shared about her layout:

"For this sketch I've decided to make a girly layout again I had a lot of fun making this page, using almost all of my old embellishments. 

All the papers I used including that heart PP for the background is from the old DCWV paper collection „Madly In Love“. 

I drew freehanded two big hearts with a pencil and coloured one of them with the water colour. I didn't erase the pencil line to give my page an interesting touch. And the other heart is a shaker background with sequins in it.

My premade heart and arrow embellishments are those glitter foam rubber stickers at both corners and also the three mini heart puffy stickers on the polaroid frame. Unfortunately I don't know from which company they are."

"I have been wanting to use this heart paper for ages and so when this challenge came up I just knew it was perfect! The photo of my youngest DD and our old cat was very colourful so I re-printed it in B & W so it wouldn't clash with my colour choice for my page.

The packaged hearts are the brad in the centre of the rosette and two heart pins. The arrow is under the photo and originally was wooden but I dressed it up by covering it in gold washi tape and a star sequin.

I really hope you can join in the fun with this challenge and I look forward to seeing your creations."

"The Best Is Yet to Come"

Here is what kate shared about her layout:

"Just a casual family picture-We try to catch daddy in the picture when we can which isn't as often as we'd like!

This was the last day of school June 2013-a tradition we do instead of the first day of school,; it's less chaotic! Anytime I can scrap a family picture is a good day for me and as our kids are doing better in school and getting older, we believe the best is yet to come!!

I used my wood veneer as my arrow (I am addicted to wood veneers) and used some Elle's Studio wood veneer hearts in there as well as some Heidi Swapp hearts. Heart paper is from the awesome Creative Girl collection by Cosmo Cricket. The rest is just stash that I thought was romantic and said LOVE to me"

"Here’s my take on this month’s Stash & Sketch challenge. I cut a large heart out of heart patterned paper using Clear Scraps Heart acrylic shape. For my arrow, I used an arrow and heart rub-on by Amy Tangerine. I painted the blue heart chipboard piece to match the blue in the heart patterned paper. I love this color combination!" — at Redd Robin Studios.

I used this heart patterned paper by crate paper for the background, then I hand stitched the big hearts behind the photo, and the premade hearts I used is the burlap hearts by little yellow bicycle and the small black and white hearts is by Heidi swap and the arrow and title word love. And then added some heart stamping and heart sequins and misting."

Here is what Patricia shared about her layout:

"Well this sketch was fun! As mentioned in the last challenge I normally don't have a lot of themed stuff hanging around, but I thought I would take a stab at free cutting my own hearts! I think I did a good job!=)

This layout shows me and my #1 acting silly as usual. One of my hearts contained the heart themed paper and the arrows are corkboard...love those things!
