Introducing Returning Design Team Member, Joefil Cate

Happy Sunday!
Today we are happy to introduce returning Design Team member,
Joefil Cate
"Hi everyone! My name is Joefil Cate. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and I am a stay @ home mom. I am married to a wonderful husband that encourages my scrapbooking. I have a 5yr old daughter named Chelsey who is my inspiration! She is my favorite topic to scrapbook and I use her photos all the time. I started scrapbooking three years ago and fell in love with it right away. I am now officially addicted! I scrapbook whenever I feel like it which is a lot. I don’t have a particular style I just go with the flow, but I love layering & ink splatters and I honestly admire mixed media pages. I get many good ideas from sketches and challenges online. I started blogging online more than a year ago so I can better share my layouts with others."
Joefil's Blog: Capture Life's Moments

Today Joefil is sharing her adorable interpretation of our
July Stash Challenge ~ "Let's Go Shopping"
"CUTE"
Joefil shared this about her page and how she completed the challenge:
"Who doesn't want to go shopping...and shopping in my craftroom?
How fun is that!
 I shopped for two Dear Lizzy tags, a flair button, four enamel dots, sequins, and rub on arrows..
Now it's your turn, can't wait to see your creation!"

Introducing Returning Design Team Member, Patricia Barnett

I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July!!!!
Today we are continuing with the introduction of our new Design Team members
and we are very pleased to introduce you to returning Design Team member,
Patricia Barnett
"Hello my crafty friends!
My name is Tricia and I am from Sunny Southern California, mother of one beautiful daughter Breanna Nichole (6) and a brand new fury friend, Brownie. I have been creating for about 17 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I began scrapbooking right when there weren’t too many “safe” products out there to use. Since my attendance to a Scrapbook Expo it went all down hill from there! I usually reference that as my “coming out party!” Most of my projects and layouts you will see will be of my daughter as she IS the subject and focus of my life! I have met so many cool people through the world of crafting in which I am so lucky to have many of them as my friends!

I’m usually kept busy doing layouts, canvas pieces, Project Life, Art Journaling and my favorite…. Mini Books! Whatever it is I am creating I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE using embelIies! You will almost always find some BLING, Washi Tape, Paint, and most likely some doodling. =) I

Besides crafting, I love spending time with my family, friends, traveling, reading, dancing and working out. I am usually never still and always involved in something.

I am super excited to be a part of such an awesome design team here for Scrap Our Stash!
All the designers are extremely talented and I am sure you will find inspiration every time you visit!
I am totally looking forward to another term and I hope you are too!
Stay tuned to see some cool stuff!
See you around!"

Here is Patricia's awesome take on our

Introducing Returning Design Team Member, Dulcinea Silva

Good Morning!
It's day two of our Design Team introductions.
Today we are reintroducing returning Design Team Member
Dulcinea Silva
"My name is Dulcinea Silva, but everyone calls me Dulce. I’m a Brazilian girl, but I've lived in Portugal since 2005, after getting. I have a husband, no children yet, and a cute cat. I live on Portimão, a medium summery town, south of the Algarve. It's the best place to be in the summer.

In my free time, I love writing, photographing and scrapbooking. I've made handmade cards since I was a teenager. However, I met scrapbooking in 2003 when I lived on Oregon, USA. Since then, I have just been so in love with it. I like mixing papers, stamping and hand stitching. I especially found myself interested about telling my story, using pictures and my creativity for that.
I am looking forward to being inspired and learning so much with you."

Dulcinea's Blog: So Dulce

And for today's inspiration, Dulcinea has created a beautiful layout, inspired by our
July Stash Challenge:
Dulcinea shared this about her layout:
'"I'm so happy to be on the team for one more term!
For this challenge I began with the picture. I wanted to create a romantic and sweet layout about my cute niece. I chose patterned paper from Lily Bee, cardstock and ribbons.
After choosing these items,  I began to shop my stash, and I bought:
 (1) Washi tape (2) sequins (3) flowers (4) wood veneers (5) die cut.
Now, it’s your turn for a fun challenge and layout!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are excited and pleased that Dulcinea has returned for another term of creating with our team. We are looking forward to another six months of her fabulous reveals!
Please join with us in extending Dulcinea a hardy WELCOME BACK!!!!
Introducing New Design Team Member, Steffanie Seiler
Hello!
This week and continuing on until the 14th, we will be introducing a new or reintroducing a returning Design Team Member daily, along with their reveals inspired by our
July Stash Challenge ~ Let's Go Shopping!
Scrap Our Stash is excited to introduce to you our first team member
Steffanie Seiler
"Hi! My name is Steffanie. I started scrapbooking when my oldest son was a baby---he's now 15! I also have another son who is 10. These two are my primary scrapbook subjects in addition to a golden retriever puppy, a calico kitty and, of course, everyday life.
 In the early days, I was definitely a flat, non-lumpy-bumpy scrapper---I now can't imagine scrapping that way. Although I don't really dabble much in mixed media, I do need to have layers and dimension on my pages. I think I have a pretty good eye for color, balance and details. I like clean lines and don't really do messy.
My husband and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest region of the United States. My favorite season is summer. I like coffee, chocolate, pizza and wine (among other things!). Besides scrapbooking, I enjoy running and just being outdoors. I am an RN and work very part-time so that I can spend most days being home fulfilling my role as wife and mom...and have plenty of time for scrapbooking, of course!"
Steffanie's Blog: Glimpses of Life from a Brown Eyed Girl
Today Steffanie is sharing this wonderful bright, and cheerful layout she created, inspired by the
Let's Go Shopping" Stash Challenge
"These Are The Days"
...and this is what Steffanie shared about her reveal and the challenge:
"I had a lot of fun "shopping" my stash for the right ingredients for this page. It actually made me take a different approach to my scrapbooking. I usually start with photos and a sketch. This time I pulled out items I wanted to use and created a layout around those. The photos came last---although I had a pretty good idea what I wanted to use while I was creating!
I used the following items to complete this challenge: Washi tape, striped paper (diagonal), Polaroid frame, wood veneer, journaling card, 2 or more types of punches.
 That makes 6 different items from the list---and a successful shopping trip!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We are honored to have Steffanie joining our team, and look forward to all the creative inspiration she has in store for us!

Please give Steffanie a warm welcome, by leaving a comment below.

Our current challenge will end July 29th, 11:59 PM (PST)

"Hi there. My name is Rachelle.
I am a mother to 2 grown sons and grandmother to 2 beautiful grandchildren.
I was a 6th grade teacher for 7 years.  Now I am wheelchair bound and keeping busy is still my goal.
I started scrapbooking in 2008 when I viewed a friends work. My passion quickly turned into addiction for this type of artistry and I never looked back. I am very passionate about this hobby. It's not just about creating albums but it is a work of art. I love taking pictures to use to document life. Thus, here I am today enjoying my passion as therapy and inspiration to others. Now that I am wheelchair bound, each day is filled with being inspired, creating, providing inspiration through my work and treasuring the memories.
My obsession has expanded since 2009 for creating cards, tags, altered art work, mixed media, wood and canvas artwork. I love using a variety of techniques, elegant and fun elements. Yes, I do send out a few cards. My style has been described as detailed, beautiful, and multifaceted. My greatest strength is attention to detail. I like to take the viewer on a visual journey of my inspirational designs."
If you would like to see more of Rachelle's beautiful work, visit her blog:
Scrapbooking and Crafts ~ 24/7 * 365

Here's Rachelle's fabulous reveal inspired by the challenge:
This is what Rachelle shared about her page and the challenge:
"For this challenge I went with the shabby chic style layout. This delivers a softer and feminine look which highlights the picture. I used a generous amount of layering and pastel colors for inking and embellishments. With the final touches the layout came to the perfect height of inspiration.
I so enjoyed this challenge because I really needed to go through my stash and see what else I could go shopping for!"
Here are the items I found in my stash to complete the challenge:
Enamel dots (2 sets), Arrows, Wood Veneer, Journaling Card, Sequins (3), Flowers (3+)"

Thank you so much Rachelle for providing this beautiful inspiration and agreeing to be our July Guest Designer.   We are excited to have you design with our team this month!

Hello there!
Today's adorable Sketch with Stash inspiration is the creative work of DT Patricia:

"This was a fun sketch to use. I used Pink Paislee " Hello Sunshine" Paper Collection for this layout as I like the colors which gave it a nice spring /summery feel.

I used some of my favorite embellies on this layout, which included my lovely washi tape, twine, enamel dots, wooden veneers, journaling card, to name most. I enjoy being able to dig into my stash for random aphas, which in this case I used 2 different font types. Worked out perfect!

"Backyard Pool" Layout by DT Megan

Happy Friday!
What better way to end the week than with some fabulous scrapbooking inspiration!
Today's lovely inspiration is the creative work of DT Megan, inspired by kour
June Sketch with Stash Challege
AND...
The "Tie Dye" Inspiration Challenge at Child's Play:
This is what Megan shared about her layout and the challenges:
"For this layout, I scrapped a picture of my son, Max in our "backyard" pool. Even though it is small, he has a lot of fun in it! I followed the sketch fairly close but did only use one photo. I was inspired by the Tie-Dye Challenge to make my own background. I used some Sixxiz circle dies and a Versamark pen to draw the circles on white cardstock. I then embossed them with white embossing powder. After embossing, I sprayed the background with three different Mr. Huey mist colors. To keep the circles white, I wiped the mist off with a baby wipe. I used vellum for the strips going from the top - down on the layout so the background would still be visible. I used two enamel dots in dark pink and used green thickers for "Pool" and small green block letter stickers for "Max".

How would you like to win this awesome prize from our June Sponsor,
Complete and link up your entries for one or both of our June Challenges by
June 29th, 11:59 PM (PST)

"For my layout I combined the inspiration from the sketch and from the "Tie Dye" challenge. Since I'm in both design teams
I cut some circle ring in different sizes out of paper using the circle dies. Then I put them randomly on a white cardstock and glimmer misted it to get the "Tie Dye" look on the background. I chose to use some sequins to finish my layout."

Hi there!
Today's amazing June Sketch with Stash inspiration is being shared by DT Jenni and is Jenni's last reveal as a Design Team member at Scrap Our Stash!
We're gonna miss having her on our team and the wonderful "Start to Finish" videos she creates and shares with us!
And this is what Jenni shared about her page:
"Sadly, this is my last challenge as a DT member at Scrap Our Stash, so I wanted it to be special. I decided to focus on the idea of time passing so quickly! These photos are of a rainy day craft project from last summer.
I tried to fade distress inks together with a roller stamp to mimic the vertical pieces in the sketch. For the stash part of the challenge, I used a combination of rub-on sequins, real sequins and enamel dots to embellish. I can't wait to see what everyone is inspired to create!
I also want to thank all the amazingly talented DT for being so much fun to work with, and especially to Brenda and Rochelle for being a great leader, inspiration and friend to me!"

"Cute Boy" Layout by DT Leila

Happy Saturday
I hope you are enjoying your weekend!!!
Today's fabulous Sketch with Stash inspiration is being shared by DT Leila:
Here is what Leila share about her layout:
I have always loved photographs, but after I became a mother always walking with a camera in hand, has become very common. I love every little moment of registering children and then remembering how they grew, and how their characteristics have changed.

This is a picture of my youngest qdo, when he was 1 year and a half or so. Today he is a little boy of almost 7 years. How I miss this cute and naughty face.

The sketch is a grace and I loved playing with it.   I decided to make some chevrons and paint with gelatos.   For the background paper I used the colors in the photo for inspiration. I added enamel dots are on the left side of the photo.
I hope you enjoy.

Here is the sketch for June
You must include the following:

Joefil shared this about her layout:
"Another fun challenge!
For this challenge I started with white cardstock for my background.  I used my clear block and stamped tim holtz distress ink into the block and sprayed with water and then I stamped it into the background paper to create a watercolor look to meet the requirements of the
"Tie Dye" Inspiration Challenge over at Child's Play.
Next I splattered some ink that was left over on the block,  and added lots of sequins, my favorite embellishment to put into my layout these days."
