"Little Beggars" LO by DT Becky

Hello! Happy Wednesday!!

Today our DT member Becky is inspiring us with this beautiful layout:
Here's what Becky said about her layout:
"Both dogs sitting patiently next to each other and looking in the same direction means there must be food involved. Some layouts come together easily and this was definitely one of those. I chose to make the photo black and white given that I added so many patterned papers behind it. The layered the half circles around the photo are my favorite part. For W-A-S-H-I, I used: wood veneer, alphas, stitching, hearts, and ink."

"me, Myself & I" Layout by DT Nicole

Hello!

Today's wonderful inspiration is brought to you by our DT member Nicole:
Here's what Nicole shares with us:
"For this challenge, I decided to go down to basics, that means, create a layout all about ME! I used an older collection from Pink Paislee 'Indigo Bleu' and had fun finding embellishments to go with the W-A-S-H-I challenge. W is for wood veneer (flags, heart and camera) from Teresa Collins. I also added wooden buttons. A is for the ampersand that I included in my title. I love the look of a big ampersand on any layout! S is for stitching. Anyone familiar with my style know that I normally add handmade stitching on most of my layouts. Well, I went all out with this one, stitching along all the vertical lines on the Pink Paislee background paper. H is for heart which I found in a die-cut shade from the Indigo Bleu collection and of course the wood veneer. I is for, well, ME! It's a layout about me and the letter "I" was inspiration for the theme. If you want to see details, visit me at http://scrap-utopia.blogspot.com/"

"My Dad & I" Layout by DT Tanti

 Happy Hump Day!
We are half way through the work week! :)
Today we are sharing with you fabulous inspiration from are DT member Tanti:
Here's what Tanti shares with us about her layout:
"This is my layout with now and then photos of my Dad and I.
I was thinking of him a lot lately, since he passed away last summer. The old photo is the only childhood photo that I have with him. Since he was the person who usually stood behind the camera and took the pictures.
So I have to document it.
To complete the challenge I used:
W - Washi Tapes ( Film stripes and black polka dots).
A - Arrow ( Paper clips).
S - Sequins.
H - Hearts ( Wood Veneers and puffy stickers).
I - Ink."

"Road Trip"Layout by DT Elena

 Hello Crafters!!

Today DT member Elena is sharing with us her lovely layout:

Here's some close ups:

Elena said this about her layout:

"A trip along Route 66 -- you must stop at Cadillac Ranch, a very suggestive place...the colorful graffiti on cars are cool and stands out to the desert around.  The beauty is that every person who comes can make a mark so every day you'll see a different scene!  When I was there in 2008 there was an Italian bikers group who were coloring a whole car with gold!  Who knows if it is still there!
The items I used for the WASHI stash challenge are:

Washi (tape)

Arrow
Stamps (staples too!)
Heart
Ink"

Are you ready to start your layout?   Can't wait to see it! :)

"We're Finally Here" Layout by DT Steffanie

 Happy Monday!!

Today's inspiration is brought to you by our fabulous DT member Steffanie:
Here's what Steffanie shares with us:
"As you can see, I'm still working on those Disney photos. This is just one photo so not making a big dent in the pile with this layout. Oh well...it's all about the creativity, right? And I love scrapping my Disney pages!

I pulled out lots of small elements to make up the letters for this challenge.
Here is what I came up with:
W - washi tape, (of course!)
A - arrows and assorted alphabets
S- stars
H- hearts
I - ink pens in black and white for outlining

Normally I ink the edges of everything (which would have been another supply starting with "I"), but I decided to distress the edges of my papers with scissors instead. Every once in a while you need to change things up a bit."

"Believe in the Magic" Layout by DT Tracy

Hello Crafters!

Thank you for stopping by for today's inspiration by DT member Tracy.   Here's her wonderful layout based on the January sketch challenge:
Here's what Tracy says about her layout:
"Yes, I still believe! You're never too old, right? I still get butterflies when I see Santa and I hope that feeling never goes away.

For this sketch challenge I mixed it up a bit, but the basic concept is still there. That's what I love about following a sketch, it's such a great starting point to get your design going. Additionally we were asked to incorporate sequins and I used plenty. Circle sequins along the chevron side border and also as the centers of my diecut snowflakes. Snowflake sequins were sprinkled throughout as well to add to my holiday theme. Let me point out my title, this is a cut file by 17 Turtles. With them being our sponsor this month we were given the opportunity to work with their files. So be sure to check them out!

Now it's your turn, go have some with it! I look forward to seeing your creation."

Here's GSA Bev Code's sketch...and don't forget to add SEQUINS:

 Happy Monday!!

Today we start off our week with this beautiful layout from our Design Team member Kate:
Kate shares this about her layout:

"Used the Pie Chart cut file from 17 Turtles along with the fab sketch by Bev Code. I only used one picture so that the cut file would show through; loved all the hearts! Used white on white paper but misted for a watercolor look. Used washi down the sides for the color to match my embellishments. Loved this picture of us on Christmas Day before eating Christmas diner."

Here's is a look at this month's sketch created by
Guest Sketch Artist Bev Code:
