Those Pesky Magnets - by Kimmarie
How many of you have received advertising magnets? I get them all the time in all different sizes. A couple of week's ago, my daughter brought home about 6 large magnets from a local pizza parlor and I received a 4 x 6 one in the mail. What am I going to do with 6 of the same magnet? Scrap em - that's what! I decided to use these large magnets as free displays for my pictures for my refrigerator. I even punched the corners in one of them. I used Stampin Up Sticky Tape to adhere the paper to the face of the magnet to make sure the paper wouldn't fall off if someone rubs up against it in the kitchen.
The first one is pictures from the girl's school pictures from Sept 08 as I have replaced their pictures in the living room with this year's school pictures. The second one is just a natural shot of my daughter, Sara, sitting in my cousin's yard playing with a camera we bought over the summer. I love that I can embellish right on top of the pictures and add a little fun to the kitchen.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea. I don't think I have seen my refrigerator door in 10 years for all the magnets and junk on it. This is a really cool idea.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I'm not one for magnets on my fridge - but these would be great on my boaring file cabnet at work. Thanks for the idea.
