November Recipe Challenge by Stacy

Hi everyone!! It is Stacy here today to share with you the layout I made for the November Recipe Challenge here at Scrap Our Stash. I decided to go with an actual food recipe because I recently found this super easy Pumpkin Muffin recipe on Pinterest. I have made it 10 different ways since I found it and all of the muffins have been extremely easy to make and yummy to eat.

I baked a batch not too long ago to go in some muffin boxes I made with matching cards. I gave them to my children's teachers. These muffins were just that perfect sweet touch to finish out the gift. All you have to do to make the muffins is to mix one box of yellow cake mix with one small can of pumpkin. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. That's it! How much easier could it get?? You can use different flavors of cake mix, you can ice them and you can add nuts. You are only limited by your imagination.

Now it's your turn to take the November Recipe Challenge. You have two choices.
Follow this recipe:
5 embellishments (flowers, buttons, etc)
4 words or letters in your title
3 pictures
2 pattern papers
1 solid paper
 or
You can do a layout containing a recipe - maybe one of your family's favorite Thanksgiving dish or a family recipe. To participate in the November Recipe Challenge - just complete a project using one of the challenges mentioned above and email a picture of your project along with a description to Scrappinpsycho@live.com  All submissions will be posted to The Scrap Our Stash blog and on November 30th a winner will be chosen, and given the opportunity to be a Guest Design Team Member for the month of January. This challenge ends at midnight central time on November 30th.

I can't wait to see what you come up with for our challenge. Until next time....happy scrapping!

  1. I make these muffins, too! I use a Spice Cake mix. I'm very curious about the muffin boxes you made. Is that from a Cricut cartridge? If so, I'd love to know which one. Great color choices for your layout...very warm, yummy, foody colors. I can almost smell the page!

  5. I got the instructions on how to make the cupcake box from Jinky's Crafts Blog. She adjusted the measurements for an Exploding Box Tutorial she found at Crafter's Companion. They sell DVD's that are loaded with cool projects! Here are the links to both sites:
