Today Sharla is sharing a little bit about herself and the fabulous layout she created
inspired by the challenge:
"Hi! I'm Sharla from Southern Utah. I've been scrapbooking since the days of YES glue, clip art and only about 5 different colors of cardstock..if you don't know what I'm talking about, lets just say that I was there from the beginning of this hobby and it has been wonderful seeing it evolve over the years. I love playing with paper, making cards, coloring with my copics, reading, movies, diet coke, chocolate and traveling. I'm so happy to be a guest designer this month and am happy to have found such an amazing challenge blog specifically for scrapbooking. I love the inspiration and different sketches, & it's so fun to see how everyone is inspired a little differently with each challenge. I look forward to seeing all the creativity you will share! "

Sharla shared this with us about her beautiful layout:
"The layers of color in the sunset inspired the background where I added paint and ink to tone down the light purple and leave streaks similar to the sunset. I used coral, pink, lavendar, yellow and a light teal for the colors. I found this picture of my daughter which was perfect to go with the flower requirement, and added a black and white daisy pattern paper that I tinted using my copic markers, and then I have hearts running down the right side of the paper, inspired by the big heart on the book cover. Such a fun book cover and I can't wait to see what you all create!"

Thank you so much Sharla for sharing your beautiful work with us!
