Let's start with the challenge ....
Your challenge is...
Create a layout inspired by the BOOK COVER..
You are allowed to use anything from the cover that inspires you,
for instance, the paint splatter, the colors, title, etc.
AND...you must include POPS OF YELLOW on your page.
When posting your layout, you must include in your write up
what inspiration you pulled from the book cover, to be considered for the

Today Stacy is sharing a little bit about herself and the fabulous layout she created
inspired by the challenge:
"Walking With Daddy"
"When I looked at this book cover I was immediately inspired by the father and children on the cover. I recently printed out some photos of my goddaughter's husband and their child. I've been scrapping so many layouts of her adorable daughter lately. This photo of father and daughter taking one of their first walks together was just too precious not to scrap and preserve the memory.
I was excited to use the Fancy Pants-Attwell Page Kit included my June Flavor of the Month Kit from The ScrapRoom. I just LOVE the bright bold colors and florals! I decided to fussy cut some flowers out of floral sheet of patterned paper to get some of my pops of yellow for the other part of the challenge. I just knew it would jump off that black card stock base sheet. I splattered on Color Shine in Chartreuse, Peacock and Butter and also Dylusions ink spray in white on the base paper. Then I just layered the different patterned papers and added some embellishments. I finished by doodling with a white pen. I love how this layout turned out and I had such fun with this challenge!!"
