When I heard we were going to be working with grids I have to be honest I was a little scared. But then I kept seeing different grids here and there and realized that there are so many variations on a grid. One of my main concerns is I'm a very assymetrical scrapper and with grids it's very balanced and symmetrical. Plus, I rarely print my photos tiny so I compromised and came up with this. I cut my photos to 4x4 and created a grid with them, mounting them on a sheet of cardstock to help them feel unified. To keep my layout from being too square I chose to tilt one of the squares of my grid. I used up some old stash on this project - the big circle paper and stripe is old SEI, the red background print is Bella Blvd, and the yellow lined for my journaling is October Afternoon. I had a good time with this challenge and just might be challenging myself to attempt another take on a grid as it was fun. Thanks for taking the time to look and have fun with this month's challenge!

Hi, my name is Sally and I live in Meridian, Idaho with my husband of 20 years, Micah and our children Skye (18), Davis, (14) and Carsen who is 11. I have been scrapping since my oldest was 2 clear back before there was even such a thing as scrapbook stores and we only had 1 choice of manufacturers. I've loved seeing this hobby expand and grow and enjoy it more now than ever! Scrapbooking is a definite passion of mine and I love the creative process! I find so much joy in capturing the everyday moments as well as the milestones. In my professional life I'm an Energy Therapist and love helping people change their lives for the better. I am honored to be able to be a guest designer here at Scrap Our Stash this month and look forward to getting to know more of you better! I've also included a layout I've scrapped recently of me and my mom so you can "see" me as I'm rarely in my own scrapbooks.

Here's my layout for the Pagerize Challenge. I do save quite a few tickets but rarely use them so this challenge was a lot of fun to force myself to first find and then use up some of those tickets. We watched this movie years ago during our big Southern California Vacation. I mostly used Fancy Pants It's The Little Things line. Thanks for a fun challenge!
