"Hello, everyone! Lori here today to share my take on the December Golden Globe Challenge, which is to make a winter layout and use snowflakes for embellishments.

My layout is of my granddaughter building her first snowman of the season. We were lucky enough to get a little snow in November - which is kind of early for us - and it was perfect for building a snowman, so we took advantage of it!

"Hey everyone. Can you believe that December is here?? I don’t know where the time goes. I have my take on the Golden Globe Stash Challenge for this month. We were to create a winter layout and use snowflake embellishments. I created a page of my daughter and grandson out in their yard last winter. For the snowflake embellishments I used some snowflake ephemera and also embossed some snowflakes on vellum and then fussy cut them. Love how they turned out!! Thanks for stopping by."

Although I'm not familiar with this movie, I love decorating my house for Christmas and last year we got some snow to make it extra special. I used some snowflake paper, two large snowflakes, used a snowflake border punch, a snowflake flair button and a cute little snowman/woman.

"Hey Crafty Friends! Can you believe it's the last month of the year already? For our first challenge this month...can you guess...yep...never heard of this movie...lol I went with the Christmas theme from the title. This is my parents and our family friend Nathan (AKA Nate The Great) last year at Christmas. Since I live in the northern hemisphere it also counts as winter :-) The snowflake embellishments are in three different clusters at the top, left and bottom. Can't wait to see what you create!"

"Hello SOS friends.  Tiffany here with my take on the Golden Globe challenge for December, "Make A Wish." To get started on this challenge, I pulled out my stash of winter papers and stickers and the "Fun, Frost, and Family" sticker immediately caught my eye. I wanted to use pictures from my nieces birthday over the weekend, and that sticker was perfect!  I layered it over the photo and a silver douly.  A few more snowflake stickers from the package were sprinkled in a few spots, and my simple winter birthday layout was complete.  Looking forward to seeing your take on this challenge."

"Here is my layout for your inspiration. I used patterned paper with snowflakes along with wooden s...nowflake embellishments too!

I always find it hard to do winter layouts. I never seem to have many winter photos - and I find that I really don't take too many photos during our winter holidays. I think it is because I am too busy enjoying the time spent with family, to stop and take photos. Also, I'm not a big fan of snow and cold weather - so I don't stay out in the cold very long either! LOL!

BUT - I did make my husband pull over to the side of the road so that I could get out and capture this photo of these majestic old trucks that would always greet us on the way to see our son when he went to college in New Hampshire a few years back.

I hope you get to find some time to play along with us during this busy month!

"Hey there!  I hope you're enjoying a wonderful holiday season and stayingwarm wherever you are.  We're always really cold this time of the year. so we don't get "good" snow until around February, which is when these photos were taken.  The kids always have a blast sledding and building snow people tho!
For my layout I torea few different patterns of paper and layered them for the hill look and then layered on some splatters, chipboard snowflakes, paper punched snoflakes and pearls for the glistening touch.  I'm super excited to see what you do with this challaenge."

I´m not a mixed media girl but sometimes I do a little light mixed media version. Like here. I´ve used a star stencil with gesso and after that blue mist. That must count as a light version of mixed media... LOL

"Hey friends! Lyne back today with, you guessed it, another movie I've never seen or heard of. I just went with the star theme because of that. I obviously used the star patterned paper, and the photo is our son and my hubby when they were at the ice skating rink. This photo is when we was first learning to skate and he starts hockey practice for the first time this weekend...he's going to be my little hockey star. See how I tied that in there...haha For the quote I put it on the banner in the lower right of the photo since my layout was so clean and simple otherwise. Hope we are enjoying these challenges as we are, and I'll see you again later in the month."

"I didn't have star paper, but I found some star embellishments for my page.  I turned that house cut file into a shaker card.  The sequin mix has little gold stars and large gold stars.  I also found these black acrylic hearts that have been in my stash for years.  I added the quote on a die cut label with my typewrite."

"Hello SOS friends! Tiffany here with my take on the Golden Globe challenge for November. For my background, I punched a bunch of stars out of white cardstock, and layered them on top of a full sheet of white cardstock, creating a subtle starry background. I had a great scrap of constellation pattern paper in my stash that made the perfect layer behind my photos. I ran a piece of watercolor paper through my typewriter for the quote and journaling. Then I did a watercolor wash over the typed words, and tucked the 2 strips behind my photos. Some mists, thread, and sequin stars in 3 clusters added a little extra fun around the layout. Looking forward to seeing your take on this Golden Globe challenge."
