"Photo Bomb" LO by DT Katherine Blue

Hello! Happy Thursday!!

Today's final DT reveal for the Selfie challenge is this beautiful layout created by DT Katherine:
Katherine said this about her layout:
"For this challenge, I actually scrapped a Selfie of a PhotoBomb! Most of my friends and family know that I am the "Queen" of Selfies and my daughter was taking a selfie of herself without knowing that I took a selfie of myself photobombing her LOL! Loved that the Heidi Swapp collection had all those cute glitter sayings that were perfect for the layout and the camera paper is old stash...A/C mini frames & added some mini snowflakes and glitter tulle for a wintery feel."

Make sure you come by tomorrow for the reveal of our August Sketch challenge!! :)

Happy Hump Day!

We are going to inspire you today with this lovely layout by DT Megan:

Megan said,
"For this challenge, I used a selfie I took of me and my son, Max. Instead of using the frame to go around the picture, I used it to frame the title. The supplies are mainly from Crate Paper by Maggie Holmes and an older Studio Calico kit - Valley High."

"#selfiefun" LO by Claire Rambo

Hello!  DT Claire inspires us today with this beautiful bright fun layout:

Claire said this about her layout:
"I created this layout using Amy Tangerine Plus 1 pattern papers, die cuts, stamps, and stickers. My stash items are Maggie Holmes Crate Paper fabric frames. I embellished with a 2Peas wood veneer die cut and a couple of flairs along with Studio Calico hearts, Creative Embellishment hashtag wood veneers, a flair from Pretty Little Studio and Thickers foam alphas.
My husband and I always take selfies since it is usually just the two of us. He is very proficient at taking them, while I still can't focus and center mine. These photos are from our trip to San Deigo, CA and we were attempting to get the skyline in the background. After many attempts, I finally took a panoramic photo of my husband taking a panoramic."

Have a wonderful day!

"Summertime" LO by DT Robin Redd

Happy Saturday!

Today's wonderful inspiration comes from DT Robin:
This is what Robin said about her layout:

"This, for me, was more about WHICH selfie I should use! Lol This one, with my cousins, is the most current. I have many premade, packaged frames, but I rarely use them because my pictures are too big for them. For this layout, I printed it to the size of the frame. I’ll need to remember this because I have a lot of cute frames to use up.

Until next time…

"Love Life" LO by DT Nicole Doiron

T.G.I.F.! :)

That's right, it's Friday-- WOOHOO-- and we are sharing with you this fabulous layout from our DT Nicole to inspire you to have a crafty weekend! :)
And this is what Nicole said about her layout:
"Call me vain, but unlike a lot of scrappers I know, I don't mind creating layouts about me!  The reason being that I feel that it is as important to celebrate your life on paper as much as the lives of the people you love. I think when I'm older I will enjoy reminiscing about 'my' good ol' days. So, I was very happy with this challenge and used a selfie that I took at the beach. The collection I used is Crate Paper's Flea Market which comes with various premade canvas frames and I decided to use not just one, but 5!"

Have a fun and fabulous weekend filled with crafting! :)

"But 1st...Let Me Take a Selfie!" LO by DT Patricia Barnett

Hey Crafters!
We have another layout to inspire you today.  This lovely layout is from our DT Patricia:

Patricia said this about her layout,
"I thought this challenge was super cool as usual, more fun for me because I have TONS of "selfie" pics that I could choose from! Most of us have them, maybe a few of us have too many!  Well is there such thing?

The selfie is of me and my co-worker, goofing around at work. I got the title from the self titled song, "But 1st Let Me Take a Selfie" one of those really catchy songs you get tired of hearing, but still think its corny!

Products used:
Jilli Bean Soup Patterned Paper "Spicy Social Soup", with coordinating cardstock diecuts, including the frame. Thickers used "Jewelry Box"

Hope you enjoy!"

"#Selfie" LO by Rochelle Spears

Hey Crafters!

Today's inspiration come from …. me, Rochelle! :)
This was a very fun challenge for me!  I don't take too many selfies so this one will have to work.  lol   Nevertheless, I love to scrap photos of myself because I normally don't and I think we all should have pages of ourselves too! :)
I used Bo Bunny's Zip A Dee Doodle Collection.  To complete the challenge,  I used a polaroid frame from Recollections over my photo. I really enjoyed using this collection. :)

"Me & My Boy" LO by DT Steffanie Seiler

Happy Saturday!

We are starting off this month with some fabulous inspiration from our DT like this one from Steffanie:
Steffanie said this about her layout:
This challenge was the perfect oppoortunity to scrap this photo taken recently of me and my son. We had just gotten our Slurpees and the latest mustache straws so, of course, we HAD to "take a selfie" and get this documented. I love that he is not afraid to get a little silly with me for the sake of scrapbooking! To complete the challenge, I used a small wood poloroid frame as an embellishment.

Enjoy your day!

August "Selfie" Stash Challenge:
"self·ie - a photograph that one takes of oneself with a digital camera or afront-facing smartphone, tablet, or webcam, especially for posting ona social-networking or photo-sharing website: selfies posted by teens onTwitter."
Create a layout using a selfie photo.  The photo(s) doesn't have to be "your" selfie… it can be anyone's selfie… as along as it's a selfie. :)  AND for the stash item, you must use a premade/packaged frame(s).

And now we are excited to introduce to you our
August Guest Designer
Jenessa Franco
Hi!  My name is Jenessa, and I live in Dallas, Texas with my husband Noé, our son Santiago and our daughter Paolina. I first discovered scrapbooking in 1995, and I made my first album using construction paper and rubber cement...an absolute archival disaster! Fast forward to the present, and I've become quite passionate about this constantly evolving art form.Having always endeavored in arts & crafts such as drawing, painting and cross-stitching, scrapbooking has been such a natural progression for me.  My husband has been incredibly supportive of my obsession hobby by allowing me to utilize half of our family room as my own personal crafting area as well as hanging out with our kids when I need some creative therapy.

My blog link:
Here is Jenessa's fabulous take on the challenge:

Here's what Jenessa said about her layout:
I was glad for this challenge. I don't have that many selfies, and I have even less pages about me. So for this layout I used a photo I took of myself this past St. Patrick's Day. I was also glad to be challenged to use a frame, as I have a plethora of them in my stash that I rarely use. I cut the frame in half, and tucked each piece behind the layers so that it gave the illusion of being longer than it actually is.
Thank you Jenessa for providing this lovely inspiration and agreeing to be our August Guest Designer!

Now that we have provided a challenge and inspiration, along with the chance to win an awesome prize from Nani Ke Ola, it is your turn to dig into your stash and link up something wonderful to share with us.  :)

Make sure you stop by daily to see all the wonderful inspiration from our Design Team! :)
