"I was inspired by the animals in the movie - in particular the cute Koala. I had photos of Koala's from our July 2011 family trip to the San Diego Zoo, and I knew I wanted to use them for this challenge. I also used some of my favorite BLING - Jillibean Soup Wood Sparkles - that I've had I my stash for a very long time!

"Hi Scrappers! Today I'm happy to share my layout for the Golden Globe Stash Challenge. I used 8 photos (8!! Unbelievable!!) and placed them underneath some frames I cut out open. "Sing was such a cute, fun, creative and happy movie that I immediately thought of my kids and their imaginitive play from when they were younger. So that's where I started. This was a warm fall day for us and the kids were having a blast. I pulled out some fall papers and embellies and got to work. Then added some flourish bling and a few blingy brads to finish it off. Have fun creating!"

I used the background from the sketch on the left, rotated it and used a cut file instead of pattern paper. From the sketch on the right I used the large element matting the photos, the flags and the location of the embellishment clusters. I also added a flair for the stash part of the challenge. "Hi crafty friends! Going to be short with this as it's been quite the week here at my place with a sick toddler :-( I flipped the first sketch around and used the vertical nature of the photos. I also placed a photo were it suggested a title. From the second sketch I had to think for a long time....I ended up just taking the floral suggestion for the embellishments and called it a day. I used a self adhesive flair badge on the upper right from the paper collection as well. The photo...hubby and I in New York 15 years ago when we were still just dating. Thanks for checking my take out and catch you next time!"

Tiffany said this about her layout:

"Hello SOS friends! Tiffany here with my take on the Blended Sketch challenge for September. I chose to use 3 photos and that were in the 1st sketch, and layered them on top of a large square with torn edges, similar to the jumbo bracketed piece in the 2nd sketch. I just love that jumbo scallop element! (using a scrap of red polka dot paper I’ve had in my stash for years). I flipped my title to the top, rather than the bottom on both, and added 3 wooden buttons along with puffy hearts and nests of thread in 3 embellishment clusters. Looking forward to seeing your take on this Blended Sketch challenge."

Sherri said this about her layout:
"Here is my layout for your inspiration. I used photos from our Disney Wonder Alaska Cruise Excursion while in the Port of Skagway, Alaska. 

For the Challenge - the background is based on the sketch on the left. I replaced the glasses with the fence at the bottom, and spread the journaling lines out above and below the photos, using chipboard words and tiny alpha stickers. From the right sketch, I used a large chipboard shape, similar to the one in the sketch, and covered it with the plaid paper. I also used 2 photos. I like to cluster my embellishments in Three's - so I have 3 groups of 3 buttons for the added challenge.

I hope I’ve inspired you to play along with us this month -now go and get scrappy with it!

"Hey crafty friends! I have to say I am really striking out with these movies. This is another one I had never heard of, and after reading the description not one I'd search out to see. I went with the concept of family and created a grid layout of a recent beach trip we went on with my parents. I also used vellum as a partial layer under each one of my photos.

"Hey everyone. It’s hard to believe September is here, so with the starting of school in mind, I decided to scrap my niece’s school photo from last year. For this month’s Golden Globe Stash Challenge we were to create a grid layout. I decided to make mine a little uneven and overlap it a bit. For the stash portion of the challenge I fussy cut the white leaf wreath from a transparency. Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait to see what you create."
