August Re-Do Challenge by Wendy C.
Design Team Member Wendy C. submitted these layouts for the August Re-Do Challenge. She said:
Here is another re-do!
It cracks me up to see how simple and easy my pages were 12 years ago. I think I could finish about 50 pages a day if this is all I had to do! This was a school picture of my daughter. Never thought to use the picture itself for my inspiration. I stuck to the school theme. Added a few school supply stickers and I was done! I don't even know what made me choose that color for the background...
My re-do took a little bit more work. A lot more embellishments, some fibers and pop dots. What a difference!
Now it's your turn to take the August Re-Do Challenge. See all the details HERE!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your re-do! What a cute photo!!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a remarkable difference. I love your redo layout. You've certainly come a long way! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, what a difference! Even the size of your layout changed, which I'm sure has for many of us. I like the cowgirl theme and your use of the twine!
ReplyDeleteI love your re-do! I can see where you got the idea for the purple from, too- her dress is purple. But, it's hard to really see that in the "before" layout, since the purple paper is SO bright! I only "really" noticed her dress in the re-done layout... which means you succeeded in making the photo the focus, even with the added embellishments!
ReplyDeleteThis was a marvelous re-do!! Loving the texture of the burlap! and how you went with the photo "theme". Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a change. Have to say your style has greatly improved. Love the soft colors you used in your new layout - and how you went with the cowgirl theme.
ReplyDeleteYour redo is fabulous! What a great improvement!
