"I have had this photograph of Noah from last year’s Book Week waiting for the perfect papers and inspiration - so when the You Rock collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio was released I knew it was the one and then this month’s Tic Tac Toe Stash Challenge sealed the deal with the perfect inspiration. 

I have used the 
colour blue, Polaroid (frames) and hexagons. 

I used lots of layers as always using words and embellishments to express what I wanted to say about my awesome boy.

I have inked the edges of all of the elements and used the Polaroid frames over the photographs to highlight Noah’s face and hands in the traditional Yu-Gi-Oh! pose. The wooden star and arrows have been coated in Enamel Accents to give some shine to the layout and boost the presence of my feature colour – Blue.

Have fun and I hope you enjoy this challenge as much as I did….."

"Hello SOS fans! June here today. Hope you are enjoying your summer and taking lots of photos. To help get them scrapped, here is a little inspiration and a great SOS Tic-Tac-Toe challenge.

I used the top row map-Simple Stories-stick pin. (I knew that my map washi tape and lettered stick pin set would come in handy some day;)

The photos were in an Ice Bar in beautiful Queenstown - everything from the tumblers to the furniture was made from Ice - Brrrr!

"Hello Scrappy Friends - this month's Tic Tac Toe Challenge has so many AWESOME elements on it - that I decided to go "FULL BOARD" and gave myself an "extra challenge" to include ALL 9 items in the squares - instead of just picking one of the rows of 3!! It was lots of fun trying to find all of the items in my stash and getting them to work together!!

I think this plan worked perfectly for this layout that captures a very happy memory!

We were getting off of a ride in Disneyland when the Genie came walking towards us. I asked him if we could take a selfie together and he was happy to oblige! As you can see in the photo - this made me smile almost as big as the Genie!

I had lots of fun challenging myself on this challenge, but you really only need to pick one row of 3 to play along. 

I hope I've inspired you to play along with us this month - and I can't wait to see what you create!

"Hi Friends! Maria here sharing with you my take on this month's Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I chose to use the middle row: The Color Blue, Polaroid, Hexagon Shape.

I used a cyan and navy blue in my patterned paper. I used a chipboard polaroid frame and some wood veneer hexagon shapes for subtle touches of detail. I hope you'll stop by my blog for some close-ups and a process video!

"Hi everyone! My name is Taru Jehkonen! 

I´m so excited to be Guest DT on your lovely challenge on August. 

I live in Rauma, Finland with my sons Sami and Niko. I´m retired about 12 years now. I love cats. I have a four sweet cats  and they ventured on my scrapbook page often. 

I saw how my friend made cards on spring 2007.  Inspirited by her  and I began make my own cards with 3D images. But then I found stamps and it was big love right away! Then I found scrapbooking, mixed media and art journal. I love take photos – I was always take a lot of photo on my life.  I love little bit crazy, funny and silly photos! 

On my works I really love bold colors, shapes, layers, stamps, stencil and dimensions. I love use different mediums, but I also love make like “clean and simple”! Just like what mood I have when I crafting.

"Tic Tack challenge is my favorite challenge because it is so full of opportunities. My line is The Blue color – polaroid – hexagon shape on this month. I really love to made more dimensions on background paper, even it is pattern paper.

I really love playing with inks, paints, stamps, stencils, colors and splatters. Those all really put a more life on background paper. Usually I made a lot of layers with papers behind photo, but today I was inspired to made layers with plastic prints (sheeting). 

I love used flairs and text stickers."

"Have a great weekend! For this challenge I decided to use some travel paper in my stash, cruise theme to go with the picture of my daughter while being entertained by staff on our cruise! She's quite the drama queen so I had to get this photo scrapped!

Hey there! Today I get to show you my take on the sketch with a twist. I love sketches so I figured this would be a slam dunk. However, the twist turned out to be a bit of a challenge for me. The good part is, a challenge generally produces some awesome results and I love the way my layout turned out. For the twist I used: F- foam alphas, I- ink, R- red, E- Elle's Studio, W- wood veneer, O- orange, R- rectangle shaped patterned paper, K- the letter K in my title, & S- stars.

"Hello again and thank you for visiting the Scrap Our Stash Challenge Blog today. Today I am sharing my take on the SOS Sketch and Word Challenge for July, which includes an awesome sketch and the word - Fireworks.

The stash items I have used for the word Fireworks are:
F - Flowers, Feathers
I - Ink (through a stencil and splattered on background)
R - Resin Flowers, Rhinestones
E - Epoxy/Enamel Dots
W - Wooden Leaves
O - Overlay (filmstrip printed)
R - Roses, Ribbon
K - Key Charm
S - Sequins, String

Wow that was a long word, which worked perfectly for my layered shabby chic layout. The photograph is of my dear friend Tricia, who we stay with when we go to Brisbane - and loves us just the way we are! Oh, and best of all Tricia is a Scrapbooker too.

I cut the timber paper apart and distressed it before putting it back together on the double frames. I have then used the ink and stencil randomly on the background before adding the layers of papers and then some splotches of shimmer inks. The photograph was added last of all after all of the embellishments which include flowers, leaves (diecut and wooden), string, key charm, ribbon, resin flowers, sequins, pearls, enamel/epoxy dots, filmstrip overlay cut into sections, diecut doily, feathers and rhinestones.
So there you have my take on the SOS July Sketch and Word Challenge, and now it is your turn to Wow us with your amazing creations……."
