"Love This" LO by DT Michelle Mattie

Happy Thursday!

Today's inspiration is from our Designer Michelle.  Check out her awesome layout:
Michelle said this about her layout:
"For my first sketch with a twist challenge I decide to scrap a photo of my daughter and her aunt, taken this past summer. I used papers and embellishments from the gorgeous Posh collection by Simple Stories. I added some gesso to the background before applying the water colors. The hearts, flowers, camera and word LOVE were fussy cut from journaling cards and pattern paper. For the twist I used the following items from my stash: G - gesso, gold, O - overlay, A - arrow, ampersand, L - letter stickers, LOVE, S - staples, stitching, Simple Stories, splatters. I really love these word challenges as they make me look through my stash, and pick items I normally would not use. Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see what you create!!"

G - Gold Doodling
O - Orange Flower
A - American Crafts

"Toasting to 2017" LO by DT June Swart

It's Tuesday!  How are you all doing today? :)

Here's an awesome layout from Designer June for inspiration:
June shares this about her layout:
"Love this sketch by Rochelle Spears and thought it worked well for my New Year’s photos. To give this page a festive evening look, I used a black background and glittery gold stars. (This look would also work well with concert, prom & date night pictures.) Just for fun, I added a Heidi Swapp sequin pouch on the left side. I really enjoyed the word twist to this challenge (GOALS) which pushed my creativity. I used:

G-glitter
O-orange sequins, “Observations” word band
A-arrow
L-lined paper
S-stars

You can see more details about this page on my blog superstickchick.blogspot.com. Looking forward to see what creative ideas you come up with for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by,

Introducing Returning Designer Rachelle Olaridge

Happy Friday everyone!
Today concludes the introduction of our design team members for the Jan - June 2017 term.
I hope you have enjoyed getting to know a little bit more about each of our talented designers!
Scrap Our Stash is looking forward to all of the amazing inspiration this team
will be providing to share with our fans, inspired by our bi monthly challenges!

It's time now to meet our final designer,
Rachelle Olaridge

Rachelle is celebrating her fourth term with Scrap Our Stash and we are excited she has agreed to design with us another term.
We're looking forward to the beautiful inspiration she will be sharing with us the next six months.
"Hi there. My name is Rachelle.I am a mother to 2 grown sons and grandmother to 2 beautiful grandchildren.

I was a 6th grade teacher for 7 years. As a result of failing health I am wheelchair bound and keeping busy is still my goal. Scrapbook is the best and rewarding therapy.

I started scrapbooking in 2008 when I viewed a friends work. My passion quickly turned into addiction for this type of artistry and I never looked back. I am very passionate about this interest. It's not just about creating albums but it is a work of art. I truly love the art of design in all aspects of life, Thus, here I am today enjoying my passion as therapy and inspiration for others. Each day is filled with being inspired, creating, providing inspiration through my work and treasuring the memories. I define my style using one word it would be Shabby Chic." I love beautifully embellished projects with lots and lots of detail. My love of flowers is reflected on most of my projects. I always have the urge to add a flower here or there.

Although this is my true style, I easily adapt my style depending on the type of project.

I love using a variety of techniques, elegant and fun elements. My style has been described as detailed, beautiful, and multifaceted. My greatest strength is attention to detail. I like to take the viewer on a visual journey of my inspirational designs.

And...for today's inspiration, Rachelle has created the beautiful layout below inspired by the
January Tic Tac Toe Stash Challenge:
"Reminisce"
Rachelle:
Hello scrappers! Rachelle here and I am excited to share my challenge inspiration for you. I created a holiday page using my grandchildren as the focal point. Introducing New Designer Michelle Mattie

Hello!
It's day 11 of our Design Team introductions!
We are excited to have this talented designer joining our team!
Welcome aboard
Michelle Mattie
we are looking forward to seeing the awesome inspiration you will be sharing with us!
"Hey everyone. My name is Michelle Mattie and I live on our family farm in a small community on the east coast of Canada. I work full time as a veterinary technician and have a daughter, who is the focus of most of my layouts. I started scrapbooking in 2003 after being invited to a home party and haven’t looked back!! I love challenges and use sketches on pretty much all my pages. Some signatures are machine stitching, handmade flowers and inks, in one form or another. I'm not sure how to describe my style. Sometimes it can be clean and simple, and other times it can get pretty messy . I love texture and dimension on my layouts. When I'm not scrapping, I love to putter outside, play volleyball, read or work on wool applique. I am super excited to be on the Scrap Our Stash team, and can’t wait to share my first reveal with you!!"

Take a look at the wonderful layout Michelle created inspired by the
January Tic Tac Toe Challenge

"Just Us Girls"
Michelle:
"I love tic tac toe challenges!!! There are so many possibilities!!! I decided to use the vertical row on the left: paint/mist, 5+ patterned papers and twine. The photo is of my daughter and her puppy Saxon, just hanging out. The pattern papers and embellishments used were from Fancy Pants' 'Millie & June' collection.
Thanks for stopping by!!"
