"Got Snow" by DT Steffanie

Hello!!

Today we have a wonderful layout to inspire you!  Check out Steffanie's layout here:
Here's what Steffanie shares about her layout:

"I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I love these word stash challenges! And this was a longer one using even more items! Here’s the breakdown for my layout:

D – doily
I – ink
E – eyelet
C – circle punch, photo corner
U – uniball pen (white to make faux stitching and outline letters)
T – tag, twine
S – stripes, snowflakes, sticker letters

I pulled out some softer toned papers for this one. I generally use a lot of primary colors or at least more saturated colors, so this is always a challenge for me. Since my son was wearing a very blue coat, I went with black and white for these photos to better coordinate with the papers. These delicate snowflakes had been in my stash for Years! So great to finally use them!"

Here's the challenge:

Please visit us tomorrow with more DT inspiration and the new DT will be announced!!!
How exciting is that!! :)

Here's what she shares about her layout:

"Hi there scrappers! Rachelle here so excited to share my stash design layout. I love snow so I designed this layout with mixed media, distressed and snowflakes. It is so easy when you create a layout you really enjoy creating. Justin loves snow too, trying to catch a snowflake in his mouth. "Bali" LO by DT Manda M.

Chevrons]  !!! Who doesn't love chevrons?? DT Manda does such a wonderful job on her summer themed layout with chevrons.  Great choice of collection for this layout.
Manda: "I found this photo of me forever ago of the first time I went to Bali and I just had to scrap it. I have been to Bali almost every year since my first visit because I really love the people and the culture. I wanted to repeat the flower in my hair in some sort of motif, I dug into my stash and found a Dear Lizzy chipboard flower but it was pink which just did not work, so I decided to alter it. I took my Versamark pen and coloured the parts I wanted to emboss then added yellow embossing powder so it was a match to the one in the photo."

COMB BACK TOMORROW FOR OUR SKETCH WITH STASH CHALLENGE REVEAL! :)

"This Looks Like Trouble" LO by DT Lindsey K.

Today, DT Lindsey K. shares with us this beautiful Summer Layout with bright and fun colors!
Lindsey said, "So I have to admit, this turned into a whole lot of fun! Who knew that themed paper and die cuts (two of the things I reach for the least) would lead me into a super colorful, fun page! I had a blast putting little details next to the requirements - like droplets and teardrops I had forgotten about, yellow bling I had tucked away, and fishy fish that would probably still be swimming around a hundred years from now!"

"Summer Fashion" DT by Kerry B.

Summer wouldn't be Summer without fashion, right? :)  DT Kerry does a wonderful job on her Summer  themed layout using great summer die cuts.  Take a look:
Kerry said, "I don't have many pre-made die cuts so I thought I had better use them as my starting block. Luckily some of them were part of a paper range from S.E.I. called Vanilla Sunshine that went so well with these photo's of my eldest daughter and her friend out shopping! One sheet was completely fussy cut to provide the flowers and the cutest little humming bird (I wish I had bought two sheets now!) I added some die cuts from My Little Shoe Box (Sunday Market) as they were lovely and bright. A few word stickers and a smattering of sequins and I was done. I would love to see your summer inspired pages so please play along with us and brighten our day. xx"

"Joes Crab Shack" LO by DT Robin R.

Yummy! Doesn't that look good? Robin did a fantastic job using summer themed paper and embellishments on this layout! I love the how she added the waves throughout her layout! Cute!!
Here's what Robin said, "Summer papers are my FAVORITE! I cannot resist them. I have so many different once. I was thrilled to have the perfect excuse to finally use my October Afternoon Seaside collection from 2010?! I still love it today as much as the day I bought it, therefore, I had a lot of fun playing with it.

I used some of the cardstock stickers that came with the collection. I altered the crabs and the anchor by covering them with Liquid Glass to make them look epoxy. And if you take a really close look, you can see googley eyes on the crabs. I believe those came into my house when my mom moved in with me over 9 years ago! LOL

I also used some Studio Calico vellum die-cuts from their Atlantic collection, great color and theme coordination with my layout.

I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge!"

What summer collection will you be using on your layout? You have until August 29th to upload your layout!  For challenge details click HERE.
