"My Boys" Layout by DT Carol

Happy Friday!
Today we are featuring DT Carol's awesome interpretation of our
"Something Old, Something New, Something Fussy Cut, Something Blue"
Here is what Carol shared about her page:
"Hello, ladies! What an awesome challenge! I had a lot of fun with this one! For "something blue" I used a blue background paper from OA. For "something old" I used a brown brad (next to my fussy cut robot) and the red round tag behind it. For "something new" I used the OA Daily Flash cards and enamel dots. I feel great to be using up my stash! I hope you all get to play along!

May Guest Designer
Ruby Marchand
"Hi my name is Ruby Marchand. ( AKA Inspired Scrapper). I am retired and have a daughter, son and one very special Granddaughter Alyssa. My home is in London, Ontario Canada.

I have been scrapping and making cards for a very long time. My love for paper crafting started in 1995. Along with this hobby, I also did craft shows with flower and wood crafting. The show sales started to decline so I decided just to spend my time Scrap booking and Card-making. I still do some flower arranging and donate the items to a Cancer organization.

In 2007, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I just passed the 7 year survivor mark. During this tough time, I managed to make layouts and cards on my good days. By October that year I was able to send 250 cards to our troops overseas. This hobby helped me focus on something positive. I started to receive encouragement cards from paper crafters world wide . I treasure each and everyone. I simply love paper crafting.

I get inspiration from various sites on the web including Scrap Our Stash blog.

Love the social aspect of Scrapbooking and Card making. The challenges push me to complete my projects. Thanks for letting me share my layouts with you this month.

Below is Ruby's amazing take on our May Stash Challenge:
Here is what ruby shared about completing the challenge:
SOMETHING OLD:  I have used My Mind's Eye patterned papers. (Vintage Bliss)
SOMETHING NEW:  Ruffled sheer ribbon
SOMETHING FUSSY CUT:  MME doilies and Banners
SOMETHING BLUE: Titles, Banner, Camera,Organza Flower

Thank you Ruby for providing this beautiful inspiration and agreeing to be our May Guest Designer!
