Patricia said this about her layout,

"I thought this challenge was super cool as usual, more fun for me because I have TONS of "selfie" pics that I could choose from! Most of us have them, maybe a few of us have too many!  Well is there such thing? 

The selfie is of me and my co-worker, goofing around at work. I got the title from the self titled song, "But 1st Let Me Take a Selfie" one of those really catchy songs you get tired of hearing, but still think its corny!

Products used:

Jilli Bean Soup Patterned Paper "Spicy Social Soup", with coordinating cardstock diecuts, including the frame. Thickers used "Jewelry Box"

For today's feature, DT Kerry created this fun layout for Stash A thon Challenge #13:

As we are celebrating a Birthday here at Scrap Our Stash I thought I should do a Birthday page for this challenge, which is to use treat bags - mini bags.  I didn't have any patterned mini bags but I had a whole bunch of glassine bags in my stash which were perfect to show off these pretty tags whilst tucked inside them.  I used three - can you spot them?

I had some gorgeous Tim Holtz twine which co-ordinated with my page so I tied a bow on each of my tags.  A sprinkling of adorable mother of pearl sequins (these change colours when you turn the page!) and a glitter title and we are good to go!  What are you going to put in your mini bags?

Speaking of birthdays…. this layout is about me turning 43!  For my layout, I used a Simple Stories collection.  They always have fun Bingo cards!  As you can see, I used a bingo card as my game piece and also a bingo number (31) from Jenni Bowlin.

"Happy"

Throughout birthday here at home we do a mini celebration, always have a cake and photos (of course). Love register the faces of my babies (who are no longer babies as well) as they grow. 

I used this celebration of the blog and went back there get a photo of my daughter with 4 years old, so beautiful and always smiling. Notice the little party hat in the lower left corner of the photo, I took this triangular shape and drew some triangles in the page too.

I hope you enjoy my project today and be inspired!

"Up in the Air"

Happy Birthday Scrap Our Stash!

I'm so glad that I can join this big event.  I've chosen the " Ballons" theme for this celebration.

It means I have to include on my page something round or hot air balloons or something that flies in the air.  I've created this page for my photography album.  I really love taking picture with my camera and I have the most fun using my fish eye lens. This photo is one of my works. I think it's perfect for this theme.

I've used from my stash American Crafts pattern paper " My Girl " collection. I've made those hot air ballon embellishments out of pattern paper from the same collection, wood veneers from Studio Calico and twine.

"You're Picture Perfect"

How fun to have a celebration in March! There are many things to celebrate on a daily basis and I for one, am cherishing where my family is at right now! That means a lot of fun! We went to take some family photos and of course we always have to get in some jumping photos (hooray!). Alyssa and Drew were up for it, totally cute and fun! 

My challenge pick was to use ribbon or twine. I love using twine on my layouts and took advantage of adding it in splashes here and there as well as using it as the bases for my banner too! It's a versatile string that can be used for anything!!! My favorite is using it wrapping it around something and then tying a bow!

"I have always loved this picture of my son-it was his first fauxhawk in first grade but I see that I cut it off in the picture! My "ICING" is modeling paste...added it in for a background texture using a stencil. I also dabbed it in strategic places here and there for more visual interest"

"Happy Birthday Scrap Our Stash! 

"I’m so happy to be part of the first birthday! For this challenge I chose “sprinkles” and I had the chance to use mist. I used my Silhouette for creating my personal stencil to make a grid on my background. I used this Maggie Holmes paper which matched well with the colors in my sister's picture.  The paper also has the mist effect. For completing, I just embellished my grid with some nice colors. 

It’s so simple, but I love it so much!

"Home Is Where Your Heart Is..."

Here is what Jenni shared about her layout:

"Happy Birthday Scrap Our Stash! What a fun year and this one looks to be shaping up nicely too...You guys deserve a celebration! 

My contribution to the celebration is to provide the sparkle & glittery bling from CANDLES! I would love to say this was challenging to me or my stash, but there is SO much gold and glitter in my craft room, even Tinkerbelle would be jealous! I used gold embossing past to add some stars to this lovely cloud paper. I also cut my title on the Silhouette from gold Pow! paper and used red Stickles for the heart. I had a couple pieces of gold glitter chipboard from Crate Paper and MME that I layered under my photo. I misted this sweet hot air balloon in gold Color Shine and finally sprinkled around some red and gold sequins and glitter dots!!

I am sure I could have gotten some more in there somewhere! I can't wait to see everyone's pages for this challenge and all of them!!"

"Happy Birthday SOS! My name is Denise Luscan. I live in Florida with my Husband and our

5yr old son. I was introduced to Scrapbooking when a friend at work shared her new hobby

with me about a year after my son was born. I was immediately hooked! I have always been

into crafts but with a new baby and tons of photos, Scrapbooking soon became my favorite.

I just started my blog in September and have been enjoying being a part of the lovely Scrapping

community and playing along with all of these fun challenges. My style is pretty much CAS but I

am hoping to try new things and get a little messy this year:).

"I wanted this layout to be fun, colorful and definitely convey BIRTHDAY so I

had to incorporate balloons! I thought of a Page Drafts sketch that was the

perfect inspiration for my LO (see my blog for link). The pictures are from

my little cousins 2nd b-day and I used mostly AC Hip Hip Hooray paper."
