"Jet-Setting" Layout by DT Manda

Hello!!!
In the last two weeks we have been inspired with travel themed layouts from Paris to Las Vegas, camping, road trips and even a school field trip to an airport.  Todays awesome feature is one of my favorites because it is something that is an important part of our travels, but most of us do not take the time to document it.
I love the idea behind DT Manda's layout inspired by our
September Stash Challenge "Oh The Places We Go"
...and this is what Manda shared about her page:
"I love to travel, although I do not get to do it as much as I would like but who does? I am fortunate enough to travel to Bali at least once a year to spend some time relaxing and seeing friends and I often document what I do and see but I realised I never really have recorded the travel process. So this layout is all about getting from point A to point B."

So today's feature is the last travel themed inspiration from our Design Team, but you still have until September 29th to create a layout about your travels and link it up for a chance to enter into our random draw for our monthly prize.   Click HERE for the challenge.
We look forward to seeing all of the wonderful places you have traveled to!

Make sure you stop by tomorrow when we reveal our September Sketch with Stash Challenge
...AND
the fabulous layout our September Guest Designer, Megan Laine created inspired by our new challenge!

"N.Y.C" Layout by DT Lindsey

Hello All!
Today we have more awesome "travel themed" inspiration to share with you!
DT Lindsey's layout inspired by our September Stash Challenge "Oh The Places We Go!"  puts you in a "New York State of Mind"
...and this is what Lindsey shared about her layout:
"You know, even living so close to the city, we never really get to go down and be tourists. On this trip, we surprised the kids with a Circle Line trip around Manhattan and then into the city to the Lego store and the American Girl store.

When the challenge called for vehicles of sorts, and after I found the yellow paper (Basic Grey Urban Couture, how's that for stash!), I was inspired to find these old NYC sticker cabs that have been hiding out in the folder for my husband's NYPD book for years. You know, normally, yellow is the last color I reach for (other than purple), but this time it isn't so bad!

Thanks for looking - read more about this trip and this layout at my blog!"

Time for you to get your photos and travel themed scrap supplies out, create a layout based on our challenge and link it up to be entered into our random draw for our monthly prize.  This month's prize is Bo Bunny's 'Detour" 12 x 12 Collection!

"Life Is But A Dream" Layout by DT Kerry

Good Morning!!!
Back again today with more awesome fun and fabulous travel inspiration!
Today's feature was created by DT Kerry!  What a fun page!  What a great job with the journaling and all of the signage embellies!!!
Read what Kerry has to share about her layout:
"Very little pattern paper went into making this layout, I think because there are four large photo's it didn't need anymore. I wanted to use the 'Row, Row, Row your Boat' nursery rhyme as my title but opted to have the song scattered around my page using a lot of rub-on letters and making the last line in die-cut letters. My signage embellishments were simply printed from pictures on Google Images resized in Word.

Hope you have as much fun as I did with this challenge and I look forward to seeing your pages."

Okay, by now our design team inspiration should have nudged you to get your scrap on and create a layout about somerhere you've traveled to, be it a road trip, cruise, visit to Disneyland, etc.

Good Morning Everyone!
Time to take flight with today's featured inspiration!
Although most of us have had one or two vacations already this year, DT Kelly's layout makes you want to pack your bags and head off for another adventure.
...and this is what Kelly shared about her layout:
"I knew instantly what photo I wanted to use for this challenge but decided to dig down deep through my stash to find travel papers. Lo and behold, I came across an ancient (really no telling how old!) travel overlay and decided that would be my starting point. Then the fun American Crafts Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go kit helped to finalize the layout as well as some Glitz Happy Travels airplane and title. I can't wait to see all the travel layouts!"

"My Big Adventure" Layout by DT Robin

Hello, Hello, Hello!
Another day of Design Team inspiration
And...
another brillant take on our September Stash Challenge,
Today's inspiration is being shared by DT Robin.  Lovin' the tire tracks and the chipboard frame placed on the photo around the rear view mirror:
This is what Robin shared about her layout:
This month’s challenge brought to light how much more I NEED to travel! LOL

It HAS been a while since I’ve traveled by plane, but I HAVE had the pleasure of hitting new destinations via Harley Davidson. Sitting on the back seat, I’ve been able to capture unique views on my iPhone, which has been fun. Although, I’m always afraid my phone is going to fly out of my hands! This picture is taken just as we’re leaving my house

My favorite part of this page was making the ‘tire tracks’. I used a Studio Calico stencil with Golden Gel Mediums, Clear Granular Gel mixed with some black acrylic paint. It left a feeling of asphalt/street.

The main paper used was Cocoa Daisy/Simple Story collaboration. The motorcycle on the right is also from Simple Stories. I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut the motorcycle parking image on the left. The embellishments are from all over the place, Maya Road, Basic Grey, October Afternoon and some more, Simple Stories.

Your turn!!!
Click HERE for this month's Stash Challenge.  Remember you have until September 29th to complete your entry and get it linked up!!!!

We love comments and would love to hear what you think about today's inspiration!
See ya tomorrow for another design team reveal!

"We Believe in MAGIC!" Layout by DT Jenni

Happy Sunday!
We are back today to share another travel themed layout, inspired by our
September Stash Challenge
"Oh The Places We Go!"
Today's feature was created by DT Jenni and what a wonderful page to have as your cover page for a Disnery album!  Jenni's page reminds me of all the anticipation and excitement children have traveling to and then finally arriving at Disney!!!
...and this is what Jenni shared about her layout:
"Hi everyone! For this Stash Challenge I did a layout for the cover page in our Disney album...or what will become our Disney album!

Last fall we surprised our kids by taking them to the airport, instead of the dentist, and flew to Orlando for their first trip to Disney World! I am still in shock that we managed to pull off such a big surprise.

I heat embossed the geo-tag and the wood veneer airplane with silver to tie in my silver glitter Thickers. I used the arrow and stop sign stickers to help create a visual triangle with the red heart ticket. For a little interactive element I tucked some hidden journaling inside the grey & white striped envelope.

It was such a wonderful trip and fun to break out the photos and start my Disney album! Thanks for stopping by today and be sure share your adventurous pages with us here on the blog!"

I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration and that you have been inspired to get a travel page completed and linked up to share with us.   Don't forget this month's prize is a travel collection, you could be the lucky winner of a Bo Bunny "Detour" 12 x 12 Collection Kit.
If you don't play, you can't win!

And this is what Joefil shared about her layout:

"Fun In Paris" Layout by Dulcinea

Hello Scrappy Friends!
Today's inspiration is being shared by DT Dulcinea!
Inspired by our "Oh, the Places We Go" Challenge, Dulcinea has put together a beautiful layout about her visit to Paris!
Need a skyline and cannot find one in your stash...check out Dulcinea's layout and see how she created the awesome skyline on her page:
This is what Dulcinea shared about her layout:
"I love travel collections. However, when I begin to do this layout, I realized I didn't have any in my stash. Since, I didn't get any in time for the challenge, I tried to think what I could do to give a trip idea without a single travel paper. So, I had this idea: hand stitching a Paris skyline silhouette for this since I love hand stitching. I got an image on google, printed and made some adjustments. With this done, I wanted to use some wood veneer transport embellishment to make my stitching city more interesting. I used some 6x6 paper for making cards using travel signage. I choose a train because I get there by train and a walking person because I walk so much on those days. It’s my way to give meaning on my embellishments. I used pictures of myself on this layout and journaled about the fun I have during those days in Paris"

Doesn't today's inspiration get your mojo going and thinking out of the box?
You can find the challenge and details HERE!

Come back tomorrow for more of our daily inspiration!
Happy Scrapping!

Meet our September
Guest Designer
Megan Laine
We are thrilled to have Megan her as our Guest Designer this month.   She has been faithfully playing in our challenges for the past few months and her work has been voted several times as our DT Top 3 pick.
After reading a little bit about Megan, check out the fantastic layout she created inspired by our
September "Oh the Places We Go" Stash Challenge":
"Hi - My name is Megan Beaubien. I live near Nashville, TN with my husband, Brian, a high school teacher and head football coach, and my two boys, Eli (3) and Max (21 months). I am a CPA and work part time as an audit manager in a local public accounting firm. I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago while in college. After I got married, my scrapbooking dwindled off as I was busy with my career. I got back into scrapbooking with Project Life in 2011. Then in 2012, I started scrapbooking traditional layouts again and really enjoyed it! I have been hooked ever since! I truly love playing with pretty paper and supplies while documenting life's little moments along the way. Scrapbooking definitely helps me see my blessings and makes me thankful every day. Besides scrapbooking, I like sports - especially football. In the fall, you will usually find me at the football field on Friday nights supporting my husband's team. Thanks to Scrap Our Stash for asking me to be the guest designer this month. I truly love the challenges and always enjoy completing them.
You can find more of my scrapbooking creations at my blog:"

Read what Megan shared about her take on our challenge:
"When I was sent the September challenge, I really was not sure what I was going to do because I don't do a lot of travel pages, but then I remembered that I had not yet scrapbooked my husband and I's trip to Vegas in May 2012. I printed 6 photos in a grid and then layered travel ephemera and embellishments around it. The tag sticking out is where I plan to add my journaling as it can slide out."

Doesn't Megan's layout inspire you to want to get into your scrap space and create a layout to share with us and let us know where you have gone?

Come back tomorrow when we will reveal more wonderful travel themed inspiration!

Wishing you a wonderful day!
