"Creating Memories" LO by DT Kelly

Today's wonderful inspiration comes from our DT Kelly!!  Take a look:

Kelly said this about her layout:

It has been a long time since I participated in a word challenge and I was thrilled to already have an idea for my title up front! Many times I struggle with my title, so this really helped with my starting point for the layout. And my stash is FULL of ancient photo corners. I mean the ones from years ago that you actually lick the back and they adhere to the paper but hold your photo corner in place! I had to cut the paper off the back of them but realized I could sure use these for many future projects! Papers I chose came from the My Minds Eye Collectable collection and I used some old sticker letters for my title from my stash too!

We have a very important announcement to make tomorrow!!! :) So much sure you com back and see! :)

 Happy Scrappin'!

"Simple Joys" LO by DT Manda

Hello Crafters!
Today's inspiration is from our DT member Manda Moore:
Here's what Manda said about her layout:
"I chose Simple Joys as the phrase I wanted to use, I had this photo of Harry on my desk so long and I thought it was perfect for the title. There is nothing my cats love more than an empty box, you can buy them all the cat toys there are and they will still just want the box it came in and that really is a simple joy for them. I used the photo as inspiration for my colour scheme, using some kraft cardstock to mat the layout and some papers from the Amy Tangerine Cut & Paste collection. I added my photo corners first for this layout as I wanted to sew around the edge of the papers and didn't want them to look out of place by sticking them over the stitching. I cut the little wood veneer card in half and placed it on opposite sides on my photo so it looked like it went all the way under."

Happy Scrappin'!

"Love at Home" LO by DT Kerry

Happy Humpity-Hump day!!! :)

Check out today's inspiration by DT member Kerry:
Kerry said this about her layout:
"Whilst looking through my photo's I found this old one of my daughter after she had written a message on the bath tiles and then called me to see it. It seemed the perfect photo for the 'Love at Home' quote so out came all my heart stitching templates and I made lots of floating hearts across my page and stitched the word 'Love' on the tag too as part of my title. I had some kraft sticky photo corners to anchor my photo to the page, a little doodling and paint splashes finished my page off. There is a lovely variety of quotes to choose from in this challenge and I'm looking forward to seeing your pages. xx"

"Love One Another" LO by Rochelle

Happy Tuesday!!

Today's inspiration is from me, Rochelle! :)

I used the phrase "Love One Another" from the Word Art as my title.  I used my chipboard photo corners as chervons on the left and right side of page.  I really enjoyed creating this layout because it brought me back to a Shabby Chic style which I haven't done in quite a while.  I used paper and an treat bag from a Scrap-Room kit, a doily, Prima flowers & light bulb, Maya Road Ribbon (made into a flower) and chipboard, Making Memories photos corners, Hiedi Swapp polaroid frame and Linnie Blooms canvas pieces (arrow and leaves).

See you tomorrow with a new challenge! :)

"We Will Call Him Harley" LO by DT Robin

Happy Monday!!

Today's inspiration is from our talented DT Robin!  Check out her fabulous layout:
Here's what Robin said about her layout: "At this stage in my life I look at the phrases in the Word Art Inspiration a bit differently. My kids are grown and moved out so my “Simple Joy” in my life, right now, is my new love, Harley. And, believe it or not, I had a difficult time finding four photo corners to add to my page. I found some in my chipboard stash, painted them to coordinate with the colors in the papers and stacked them. It’s been a while since I scrapbooked. I loved this challenged as I dabbled back into it!"

"Simple Joys" LO by DT Jenni

Today's wonderful inspiration comes from our DT member Jenni! Here's her layout:
This is what Jenni said about her layout:

"So many of the phrases from the Subway Art to use in this Challenge were perfect for this photo. Now that our children are older, we can out for a nice dinner and not worry about people screaming if we have to wait for our food to be prepared! That is a Simple Joy, for sure. And this was taken at a very special place to us. We had our rehearsal dinner here almost 13 years ago and the owners have watched our family grow as we have watched theirs.

The photo corners required a serious dig into my stash! I used sticker and chipboard corners from Echo Park and October Afternoon...didn't even know I had them!"

Make sure you come back tomorrow to see what DT Robin brings us!!

"Smile" LO by DT Patricia

Hello!!  Today's fabulous inspiration is brought to you by our DT member Patricia!

Patricia said this about her layout:
"Thanks for taking the time out to view my layout for the Word Art Inspiration! I decided to use a photo of me and my awesome girl! I chose to use a few words directly from the choices listed..."Simple Joys", Love One Another" & "Creating Memories". All the words listed are all such a key element in loving my family...so any I went with suited me just fine!

I used some older Simple Story embellishments that I had in my stash which worked out beautifully! Flowers came from Prima and I took a stab at hand cutting my first clouds...worked out! Thanks for taking a look!"

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for more inspiration! :)

"Family (We Are Blessed)" LO by DT Elizabeth

Happy Hump Day! :)

Today, we have for you inspiration from our DT member Elizabeth:

Elizabeth said this about her layout:

"Even though it is December, I wanted to ensure that I took time to scrap our fall photos of us at the farm. It was such a fun day and so glad that the three of us went and had a lovely time! I decided to use the word "family" from the subway sign and I also used my photo corners as arrows by placing them sideways making it an interesting texture.

Supplies: All materials were from Scrapbook Circle November kit"

"Always & Forever My Friends" LO by DT Dulcinea

Today's inspiration is brought to you by DT Dulcinea:

Here's what Dulcinea said about her layout:
For this challenge I use as inspiration the piece "always & forever" from the Word Art, but my subject is about another kind of family, my friends. I have this picture with my friends taking on a chat online, and I want to scrap about it. I use photo corners from both Maggie Holmes Collection by Crate Paper as arrows for guiding the eyes around the title. Since the picture is so colorful, I kept the layout simple, using the black big & as my focal point. I choose some color from the picture of my layout and since the corners were gold I add some on. It really makes my layout colorful but elegant at the same time, don’t you think?

Happy Scrappin'! :)
