"Together" Layout by Sherri Caramico

Hello!
Today's amazing feature is the creative work of Designer Sherri
inspired by the
March Tic Tac Toe Stash Challenge
Sherri:
"I love these challenges - there are so many ways to play along, use your stash, and get creative!!
I used the 3 boxes down the center of the board -
Striped Paper - for the punched strip on the middle left, the tag, and the banner on the top right
Gold - Nuvo Indian Gold Mousse, gold embellies
Flair - My Mind's Eye "My Story" Collection Flair

I used the beautiful "MY STORY" Collection from My Mind's Eye. Many of the embellishments and even some of the papers already have gold on them. The photo is of my husband and me having dinner at the Blue Bayou Restaurant, in Disneyland. It was so cool inside, with the Pirates of the Caribbean ride all around us, and it was very delicious!
I hope you will find time for YOU to play along with us this month at the
SCRAP OUR STASH BLOG! I look forward to seeing what you create!

Striped Paper, Gold & Flair

Here's my take on this month's sketch challenge. Instead of the two large triangles, I decided to cut small ones from the checkered pattern paper and attach them around my page. For the word twist I used the following:
C: Crate Paper, colorshine
U: uniball pen, upcycle (The two little pieces of washi tape I used came from a kit where they had been used to keep a small envelope closed)
P: polariod frames
I: ink
D: diet

C - Creative Embellishment's chipboard

P - pattern paper
I - ink

"Boys Will be Boys" LO by DT Sherri Caramico

Good Morning!

For today's inspiration, Designer Sherri is sharing this lovely layout:
Sherri said this about her layout:
"This layout captures memories of an awesome day spent with family and weekend filled with lots of adult laughs. I am so thankful that my husband and his 2 brothers are so close - and that I love my sisters-in-laws as my sisters that I never had. We always have a great time whenever we are together -even though the "boys" sometimes act like little "boys!" Love them all with all my heart!
I did find the triangles a bit of a challenge, and ended up using a triangle template that I cut out of scrap paper, and used it as a guide to make the triangles out of some thin washi tape - I am very happy with how they came out - and I can't wait to see what you will come up with!

I selected the following items from my stash for the word challenge:
C - Cardstock, Corrugated Cardboard, Circle, Camera, Chevron, Chipboard
U - Urban Traveler Paper - from Simple Stories "You are Here" Collection
P - Paper Clip, Puffy Sticker, Paper House 3D Stickers
I - Ink, Queen and Co. Rox "ICE" Nightfall Self Adhesive Stones
D - Diamond (Red Brads,) Die Cut, Enamel Dots

I hope you can find the time to play along with this fun sketch this month!

"Love This" Layout by DT Natsuko Suzuki

Happy Friday! :)

Today's Designer Natsuko is sharing her fun layout with us:
Natsuko said this about her layout:
"I chose C-Clip, U-Ultramarine, P-PolcaDots, I-Ink, D-Diecut
This is such a fun sketch! I especially love the triangles, so I cut them out and placed them like the sketch. I layered paper, diecuts and chipboard frames and popped up one of the pictures to add dimention. For the circle, I used twine. Ultra Marine color was used in the diecut words, and I used the same ink to write the journal. You can see more at http://natsukoslittlecraftroom.blogspot.com/

"So Cozy" Layout by DT Steffanie Seiler

Hello Scrappers!

Today's inspiration is from our designer Steffanie Seiler:
Stephanie shares this about her layout:
"How about a little pink for you during this month of all things love and valentines? I think I got it covered with this one! I actually used some leftovers from a kit (The ScrapRoom - February FOTM kits). I had these photos of my kitty laying against a unicorn that had pink accents so I thought they'd be a great fit for this collection from Crate Paper.

Here's the rest of my breakdown:

C - Crate Paper, clouds, chipboard, Crafter's Workshop (template for drops)
U - Uchida circle punch
P - pink, puffy alpha stickers
I - ink for edging papers, Ink for stamping, ink spray (white)
D - drops (Nuvo), date stamp

I made a few changes to the sketch but I think you can still see the "bones". I flipped the sketch horizontally to suit the orientation of my photos better. I added a third piece of patterned paper in the form of a vertical banner strip between the other two pieces. I used Nuvo Drops to make the circle. I eliminated the trianges as they just seemed too sharp for the otherwise soft feel I was going for with this page. I also relocated my title more toward the top of my page. It just fit better there.

Now it's your turn. Take the challenge---I know you want to!"
