Here's what Tanti said about her layout:

"It's been a long time since my first layout with a black background. This is my second one this month. With a dark background I could play a lot with bright colours, which's really fun. And the sketch was so perfect for my photo. 

I also did some hand stitching using sew easy tools.

In this page I used an old photo (summer 2010) which reminds me of a vacation week at Riviera del Conero with my daughter and my mother, three generations in a house!"

"Spectacular Sunset" by DT Steffanie

Today's beautiful inspiration is from DT member Steffanie! 

This is what Steffanie said about her layout:

"This photo, specifically the golden glow of the sunset, was just calling out to be used for this particular challenge. I added gold mist and gold sequins for the stash part of the challenge. For the sketch, my photo is obviously larger. By the time I selected my papers, cut them and stamped a pattern in the background---I had covered up a fair amount of space. This prompted me to move the corner elements from the top of the page to the bottom. The title naturally landed to the side of my photo rather than above. And yes, another page done for the Disney book!"

Hello Everyone!

Today we are excited to introduce you to our

Karan Gerber

"My Name is Karan Gerber and I love scrapbooking.
 I reside in south western Ontario, Canada, with my family. My husband, Glenn of 20 years and our two boys; Ellijah and Galen
My passion for this hobby definitely shows in the projects I love to create.  My family, children and grand children are the main inspiration for my projects and you will often see their smiling faces adorning my pages and projects. I first began scrapbooking when a neighbor invited me to a home party and i have been hooked ever since. that was over 16 years ago. I love creating all kinds of paper projects. I can best describe my style as detail oriented of which i love to incorporate textures and layers of dimension whenever i can.

 From canvas, to chipboard, fabric and layers of paper. I enjoy tucking tags for journal spots and hidden elements that the reader can pull out and learn more about the people in the photo. I take a great deal of pride in my work and this shows  in all my projects i create.  I am currently designing for Heartfelt Creations and am a Market Contributor for Canvas Corp Brands.

I am also the proud  Owner and Sketch Designer for two successful Sketch Blogs; 
Sketchabilities and Cardabilities."

"The Ribbon is Gold, the Arrow on top right is painted gold, and i have used Radiant Rain Solar Gold and Tattered Angels Gold Paint in the flicks and final details.

I have scraped this photo once before.  It is of our Granddaughter Ariel. This was taken last summer when we had a visit from them while we were camping and she was throwing rocks trying to make them skip.

"Spent a SUPER SUNDAY with my big sis for a photography class but we had a little tag-a-long with us so we gave him a camera too.
