DT of the Month, Ange Again :)

I have another project to show you today that is brought to us from our DT  member of the month, Ange. Here it is!
Deb♥

This is my youngest getting into trouble, he's a professional at only 3! Proud mama here. lol The title die-cut was the inspiration for this whole page. I knew I had these photos of my son breaking into the presents early and pulled them out to make this adorable layout.

I did a lot of layering, doubled up on some of the elements by fussy cutting the exact same ones from another paper and then adding them to this with foam adhesive. I also had fun doodling, distressing, inking and using a little glossy accents and Stickles to glitter things up. More details and photos on my blog. http://scrappingcompulsion.blogspot.com/

DT of the Month, Ange

This month Ange is our DT member of the month! I look forward to showing off more of  her work that I know you will love as much as I do :)

It's getting to be that time of year and if you haven't already gotten your family photos done, you're probably looking into scheduling one. Every time we do a family shoot we end up with many "out-takes" before we get the "good" photo. But often I love the out-takes almost as much as the photo I'm after. It's all about the little moments, isn't it? So this layout has the "good" family photo that I used for Christmas cards last year, along with some of the funny photos that preceded it.
This time of year can be fairly hectic and busy. I used a sketch for this layout from http://www.nutsaboutsketches.blogspot.com/ it really helps the process along. If you've never tried a sketch, you should and if you have, now you have another fun site to get free sketches from. More details and pictures on my blog: http://scrappingcompulsion.blogspot.com/

Serendipity by DT of the Month, Tamara

One last post by our Designer of the Month, Tamara! She has done a wonderful job of sharing projects all month and each were just as beautiful as the next. Each of these is using the Serendipity method tearing paper into pieces for use on her layouts. It fits in perfectly to our Tear It Challenge!!! Enjoy and big thanks to Tamara for a wonderful month! This layout brings so much happiness to me every time I see these photos of my grandson Brennan.  His Mom thought he would do good at soccer.  She wanted him to run out some energy.  He totally just goofed off at every game, and was not even into it. I grabbed these pics on the sidelines.  This shows his over active personality in action!  I used my triangle punch to create a border with personality placing them off just a bit. Then I added embellishments, my title and some journaling.

DT of the Month Tamara!

I asked Tamara to be our Designer of the Month. I know you will love her projects being shown throughout the month. Here is her first. Maybe you can start a project just like this one and give it as a wonderful Christmas gift next month!!! Deb♥

Tamara said: This was a fun project to complete. First I added the Christmas paper to the frame, sanded the edges and placed my photos of the Elves at Gardner Village in the frame. I added 3D flowers for embellishments, added the banner in the corner and labeled the event. This is now my favorite new darling Christmas item I get to look at on my desk!

Welcome Design Team Member of the Month...

CHARLOTTE!

As I get to know all of the designers here at SOS I thought it would be a great project to highlight one per month so you too can learn more!!! For this month I chose Charlotte because of her awesome project she submitted right here:

Here is a link if you would like to go back and read up on her layout too :)

Let's take a small peek into her world today and see what she has to share!

Deb♥

My name is Charlotte and I live in Alberta, Canada. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we were blessed to have 3 girls together. I am a grandmother to one adorable little guy and will have another little grandbaby to cuddle soon! I find great joy and contentment in scrapbooking the memories my family makes together. It is a wonderful hobby and one that is slowly taking over my house! LOL! I work on several albums at one time as I do one for each of the girls and then several for myself. Most of my layouts focus on family as that is what I love to scrap the best! I have recently really gotten into photography an

d am enjoying that hobby as well. I would like to devote more time to that pursuit. When I'm not busy with all of that, I like to read and I also find some time to work part time in the field of education! I love meeting new "scrappy" friends! My blog can be found at http://scrapsational-char.blogspot.ca/ and I would love for you to visit!
