To complete the challenge I added to my layout two wood veneer hearts from my stash"

"Full of Wonder" Layout by DT Steffanie Seiler

Good morning friends of SOS!
Today's adorable feature is the wonderful creative work of SOS Designer, Steffanie,
inspired by our
February Book Inspired Stash Challenge:
...And this is what Steffanie share with us about the challenge and her layout:
"Hey there.
I have a page showcasing some cute baby photos for you today. These were taken on our first trip to the beach with Andrew. He was just eight months old and taking in EVERYTHING!!

I was mostly inspired by the title. I was looking at these photos (which are quite old, by the way) and I was thinking about how Andrew just looks so absorbed by everything around him. This led me to think of how a baby's mind is big and empty when they are born and how they quickly and eagerly take in all that surrounds them, creating their life story. Kind of a crazy round about way to get from big-hearted to a big mind full of wonder...but sometimes that's how inspiration works! The red and blue from the cover are obviously represented. Later I was looking at the book cover again and saw those big innocent eyes on the moose...much like Andrew's in the smaller photo!"

The challenge that inspired this awesome page:

You have until Feb 29th, 11:59 PM (PST) to link up your entries!

Laura Whitaker

"Hello! I am so excited to be back as a guest designer here at Scrap Our Stash, it is always such an honour to be invited. Let me tell you a bit about myself,

I live in Ontario, Canada in a tiny lakeside community with my husband. We have three sons, two of which are grown and live on their own and one that is at home with us. My passion for scrapbooking and papercrafting began about fifteen years ago and is still going strong! Through scrapbooking, I feel I can accomplish two things; a family memory album (or many) and an outlet for my creative side. I love that this is such a social hobby and feel blessed to have made many friends through scrapbooking. I love layers of patterned papers, embellishments of any type, creating sketches and playing with my Silhouette software designing my own cut files, I usually offer a couple of freebies on my blog each month.

I also run my own challenge site called Stuck?! Sketches, and am fortunate to be on the DT of an online and mobile store called ScrapMuch?. I have also recently joined the 2016 Design Teams for both Imaginisce and Simple Stories which is this scrappers dream come true! I would love for you to visit my blog, grab a free cut file or all of them, and maybe play along with some of my sketches!"

*Avocado
*Butterfly
*Chipboard

"Reflections" LO by DT Zsoka

Hello!
Today we have a fabulous layout to inspire you!
Here's Designer Zsoka's layout:

Zsoka shares this about her layout:
"Hello, Zsoka here, sharing my take on the January sketch and stash challenge! It is not too late to play along, who knows, maybe you will be the lucky winner!
I've followed the sketch pretty closely because I really liked it. I do love my cut files, so when I saw the circle I knew I was going to go for some kind of circle cut file. I've found this Christmas bauble in the Silhouette Store and thought it looked pretty neat! Had to have it (and another five, just to make sure I have something to choose from haha). I've painted the lightbulbs on it with my new favourite gold and magenta Shimmerz paints.

Generally I don't go for simple, clean designs (I like a bit of mess!) so I've matted my photos with torn papers and added a chipboard frame too for dimension. Plus I've added some gold metallic thread under the photos.

The papers, even though they might not look like it, are actually all Christmas papers from various manufacturers.

The stash I've used according to the challenge rules:
List 1: American Crafts (Dear Lizzy Fine&Dandy gold number vellum)
List 2: Basic Grey (Juniper Berry Rooftop paper)
List 3: Chipboard (Maggie Holmes Shine collection: frame, bow, heart locket, cross)

Hope you like! Thanks for stopping by."

Here's the challenge:

Make sure you check out the details HERE.

Get your layout uploaded to the sidebar before Jan. 29th! :)

"Here is my clean and simple interpretation of the sketch.

Horizontal paper stacks are replaced by a MM inspiration using Shimmerz paints and modelling paste. My chipboard is used as a focal point and is encircling my picture.

As for the list, I've used avocado a main color, arrows, butterflies and chipboard."

Now it's you turn!
