Pagerize This Challenge

Niko's 1st Day of First Grade by Kathy

Posted by PicasaI did something I don't usually do - I Pagerized Myself!  I really like this layout - so decided why not create it again with First Grade.  The only problem is - the big letters are Foam Thickers - which I do not have enough of to spell out the word grade... So, I can either leave it without the word grade - or I can buy new thickers (not) or I can use a different font - and just cut out the letters.  Not sure which to do.  What do you think?

The Pagerize This Challenge ends tomorrow!  So be sure to get your layout in.  I will be announcing the winner on the 13th.  See all the details in Pagerize This Challenge below.

  1. It's a great layout, so i can see why you wanted to duplicate it. Maybe you should continue this theme till 12th grade? :) Looks great!

  2. I love the idea of one for every grade!!! I think that if you switched fonts or cut out your own letters it would be fine, but for continuity sake, I think the work grade works!

  3. just use a different font...it will be cool. Or use a different font for each letter of the word grade. And I love Rachel's idea of you doing this same layout for each grade!!

Awesome layout and hilarious that you are scraplifting yourself! Stacy h-w

  4. ooo - what about finding the right fonts online and printing out? trace them up on thicker paper / foams and then create your own thickers :)

  6. I know you have a die cut machine (or at least I hope you do!) Pick a font from your stash of dies and make your own thickers. Then you will have the same font available for each year!

  7. It look great! Love the green this time around. I would even try chipboard letters and paint them the color you want or trace them in black. Have fun with it!

  8. Okay, looks like the consenses is to add the word grade. I have some chipboard letters that I think are the right size and close to the same font. I'm thinking I may go ahead and cut them from black foam... Oh no, that means I have to go shopping!

  9. I'd go for different fonts too. I don't think it must be exactly the same like the first pages.
I love the colors of this one, and it's a great idea to go on each grade... LOL
I never pagerized myself, it's a great idea!
