I'm Stacy Harper-Watson and I feel so lucky to get to be a stay at home mother to my 5 children. I have 3 sons and 2 daughters who range in age from 10 to 2. My husband and I were blessed to be able to adopt them all. We like to say that we have adopted their birth countries too...Taiwan (4 kids) and China (1 daughter).
I have always been a "crafty" person but didn't start to scrap until March of this year. We adopted our daughter from China last year and when we did I met and made immediate friends with another mother. She is a scrapper and invited me to join in on a group to make life books for our daughters. (Life books are basically scrap books telling the story of our child's life before they joined our family)
I agreed to join the group. Made my first layout and was hooked. I now have my own blog (doesn't everyone?? lol) and I try to be creative every day. I am on a DT at Sketches for You that is so much fun. And I get to roam around the net and join in on inspiring challenges on other challenge sites like Scrap our Stash .
I am so happy to get to be a guest designer here in September. Thanks so much for choosing me!!
Your pages are quite lovely. I love your style. Welcome to the team and look forward to seeing what you create this month!ReplyDelete
I like the idea of making the life books. Those sounds like something the kids will really appreciate when they are older. It's nice to see you over here at Scrap Our Stash too. :)ReplyDelete
