"Note" Layout by DT Nicole

Hi there!
Check out the ADORABLE inspiration we have on the blog today,
created by DT Nicole inspired by our
Read what Nicole shared with us about the challenge and her layout:
"I decided to go masculine this month with my layout based on stash challenge #20. It seemed to go along with the theme also as most little boys love countdowns. The cutie on the picture is Tristan, my friend's son, when he was a baby, and my page design was inspired by a sketch from Creative Scrappers. Now let the countdown begin! 5 - All papers used are from an older Echo Park collection called 'Note to Self'. I actually used 7 different patterns - blue polkadot (background), stripes, red polkadot, numbers, beige grid paper, ivory lined, journaling card. 4 - I added many stickers to my page, 4 of which are the red arrow, the 'Love This' tab, the circle tag and all cork embellishments are stickers. 3 - There is a whole vertical row of numbers on the right edge. 2 - Because I didn't have any rub-ons that matched the layout, I decided to use 2 different star stamps. 1 - I added red strings of red paint on my background and on some embellishments and I finished off with my signature whitewashing style using a sponge and white acrylic paint."

Okay, we have given you eight days of  awesome "Courntdown" inspiration and by now we should have inspired you to pull out your supplies, and start your "Countdown!"

We are looking forward to seeing how everyone completes this challenge, so make sure you check out the details and get your entry uploaded by November 29th for a chance to enter into our random drawing for our November prize!

Sandra Scott
Sandra's Blog: Kiandra's Kreations

"My name is Sandra Scott and I’m married to a wonderful man who supports my creative hobby. Between us we have four adult children and six grandchildren.

I’ve been scrapbooking for about eight years but I’ve always had some sort of craft ranging from sewing, decoupage, OTP projects, knitting and attempts at painting.

I can’t say I have a distinct style because I really like experimenting and being inspired by others. I would say my scrapbooking is quite eclectic because some days I love clean and simple pages and others I love to get grungy or really girly it just depends on the task at hand.

At the moment I love experimenting with mixed media techniques.

I’ve been published in:
Australian Scrapbooking Memories (including showcasing for a small scrapbooking store).
Australian Scrapbook Ideas
Scrapbook Creations
Scrap 365 (UK Magazine)"

Check out the stunning layout Sandra created inspired by the "Countdown" Challenge:
"321"
Here is how Sandra completed the challenge:

5~ Patterned Papers
· Glitz Design patterned papers for the background
· Five blue coloured patterned papers for my matting and the circle embellishment

4~ Stickers or Cardstock Stickers
4X Kaisercraft Word Stickers and I made my own sticker (the circle ‘love’)

3~ Numbers
· I used three numbers for my title

2~ Stamps or Rub-ons
· The stamps are a hexagon shape, a diamond background and a script stamp, all from Kaisercraft. I also used rub-ons with my homemade sticker and a blue chain border on the page together with the squares on the tag.

1~ Paint of Mist
· I added paint to the Texture paste before applying to the page.

Thank you Sandra for being our fabulous November Guest Designer.
We are so excited to have you design with us this month!

Introducing New Design Team Member, Megan Beaubien

Happy Monday!!!
I hope you had a beautiful weekend and we are glad you stopped by today!
We are introducing the last new member to our Design Team
Join Scrap Our Stash in welcoming talented designer
 Megan Beaubien
"My name is Megan Beaubien. I live in Middle Tennessee with my husband, Brian and our two boys, Eli (3) and Max (2). I am a CPA and work part time as an audit manager in a local public accounting firm. I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago while in college and have done it off and on since then. The past year and a half I have scrapbooked more than ever and am truly enjoying it! I truly love playing with pretty paper and supplies. My two boys are usually the main subjects of my pages, and I love to look back on my pages to see them "growing up." They are young, but I still feel like it goes by too fast! Beyond scrapbooking, I am an avid sports fan - especially football - and enjoy watching a good game or listening to sports talk on the radio.
You can find more of my scrapbooking creations at my blog: http://meganlianesblog.blogspot.com/ "

Today's wonderful  inspiration  is Megan's first SOS team reveal and her take on our current
"Fall Photo"

This is what Megan shared about her layout:
"I don't normally think too much about the number of items I add to a layout, so this challenge made me think differently than I normally do about my layout. I ended up using
five pre-made die cuts,
four patterned papers,
three wood veneer hearts,
two different letter stickers
...and the one rub-on (in the top left).
The photo I used for this challenge was from a quick photo shoot we had over Thanksgiving weekend with my family.
Even though the boys were not looking at me, I like how the photo turned out."

We are happy to have Megan as part of the Scrap Our Stash team and look forward to seeing more of her super cute, colorful inspiration!

Our team has provided you with fabulous "Countdown" inspiration and ideas for the past two weeks!
If you haven't played along yet, it is time for you to start counting down!
We would love to see you use some of your stash up by creating a wonderful layout to share with us.   You have until January 29th, 11:59 PM (PST) to link up your entry!!!

Check back tomorrow for our last day of Countdown inspiration!

Introducing New Design Team Member, Tanti K

Good Morning!!!
Today we are we a pleased to introduce you to another talented designer and new member to
Scrap Our Stash Design Team
Welcome Tanti K!!!
"Hi, my name is Tanti.
I was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In 1994 I went to Germany for my studies. There I met my husband, so I stayed for good. Nowadays I'm a stay at home mom of 2 kids.
I speak Indonesian, German and English.
I've been papercrafting since I was in school.
15 years ago I started making cards for my friends and family.
In 2009 I fell in love with scrapbooking and I have been addict since I made a vintage mini album for my mother in law.

I love working with transparency or vellum. I like creating a homemade embellishment for extra details on most of my projects. My style is more CAS and colourful but I do also layering and messy style. Besides scrapbook pages I also love to make cards, mini albums and altered items.
You can see most of my creations on my blog: TantiK Creation"

Check out Tanti's first reveal for Scrap Our Stash and her adorable take on our
January"Countdown" Stash Challenge
"Bidi"
TantiK:
"This is a photo of our son with his first pet, Bidi“ the snail. LOL!

For the countdown I used from my stash
five pattern papers from Mambi,
four buttons,
three wood veneers from Studio Calico and others,
two tags from Roobee
...and the rub on??
Well, I've had a little problem with it. I've only used rub ons once in my life. And I had not purchased any since then. So I had to dig deep in to my stash to find my left overs. And there it is my leave rub on the upper left side of my page."

Scrap Our Stash is so excited to have Tanti joining our team and we are looking forward to wonderful inspiration she will be sharing with you this term!

Check back tomorrow for more design team "Countdown" inspiration!
Have an awesome week!
