Here is one I did today. I used an old piece of doodlebug pp with black and red cardstock. Misc. buttons, MM letter stickers, brads and misc. ribbons and trims.

Pagerize Sarah by Karen

Here is my effort for the Pagerize This Challenge.  I didn't stretch it out to two pages like Christy,  ( but I loved her Idea). Instead of the one large picture, I used a set of three photos on a mat as my starting point and embellished away!

January is all about new things at Scrap our Stash. So for the  Pagerize This Challenge, I chose to use my latest Treasure Box Club kit. I thought the cooking themed papers and canvas trim border from Little Yellow Bicycle would be the perfect complement to the photos of my son baking a cake. The Maya Road office sheer journal spot reminded me of a recipe card. I clipped it in place with a Making Memories paperclip. I was lucky enough to receive these cute die cuts from a swap I did earlier in the year. They were the perfect complement to the page.

Since I was on a roll with these papers and die cuts, I finished off a matching 2nd page.

This is my take on Sarah's Pagerize This Challenge. You can find her layout Here. I don't have many gadgets or boy embellishments as I have 3 girls. This was a fun layout I put together for my dh of him getting his first motorcycle.

Pagerize This #5

Da Boyz by Sarah is our 5th Page to be "pagerized" in our "Pagerizie This" Challenge. Sarah was chosen by Dawn as the winner of the Pagerize This Challenge #4. 

Each month on the 15th we will post a new layout for you to "pagerize" (plagerize, copy, lift, steal) whatever term you want to use. The idea will be - to use the posted layout as your inspiration to create your own layout. You can "pagerize" as much or as little of the original layout as you choose. You may want to make a layout just like the one posted - or you may just want to use something about the layout as your inspiration. It's totally up to you. 

Once you've completed your layout - email a picture and brief description to scrappinpsycho@live.com . All entries will be posted here at Scrap Our Stash. The challenge runs through midnight central time on January 12th. The "Pagerizer" (in this case Sarah), will then choose a winner from all the entries. The winner will be announced on January 14th. Then the winner will be asked to submit a layout for us to "Pagerize" starting on the 15th of January. Then on the 12th of February - the winner will be chosen by the winner of the "Pagerize This Challenge #5" and on and on it goes.

When Sarah found out she was chosen as winner she said, "Wow! Thank-You! Again, I'm honored... and floored, there were some awesome entries.

I tried to pick something with a variety of embellishment options but also a few unique things (like the cogs).

This is one of my favorite pages... Cogs, Cogs and more Cogs... and some screws.

Bo Bunny: Grease Monkey Patterned Paper, Little Yellow Bicycle Lacey Cardstock, cardstock 'vintage' embellishments, screw head brads, mesh metal tag and metal flower. The cogs are all appliance-rescues (mostly VCR) and the Big Blue ones (I love this!!!) are from my Mono-Adhesive tape runners.

How cool is that?!

The picture is of my 4 boys: one of the rare Pictures they *all* behaved."

Reader Gemiel submitted this layout for the Pagerize This Challenge #5. She said, "I’m new to Scrap Your Stash. I’ve got to give a shout out to Staci W. for posting a link on her blog. As soon as I saw Sarah’s pagerize layout, I knew I wanted to copy it as I remembered that I had some of that Little Yellow Bicycle lacey cardstock in my stash. I also liked that she used a lot of page embellishments, another great way to use up some of the stash I’ve been collecting for years. Here’s what I used on my page: Patterned paper, lace cut cardstock and sticker - Little Yellow Bicycle Generation Z collection. Page embellishments – Tim Holtz Journaling Ticket, Urban Ink ( rub on on ticket), Around the Block Shrinky Stickers, Creative Imaginations Art Warehouse sticker, Making Memories Moxie Fab sticker, 7 Gypsies journaling card, and screw brads. Die cut letters are Quickutz.

Pagerize Sarah -- by Joni

I just loved the "boy" themed layout and all those little fun embellies that Sarah used at the bottom.  So I chose to start with paper by Little Yellow Bicycle (an older line out of my stash!!)...  and I also had that same eyelet trim as Sarah so I used that too...  I just kept this on my sb table for a few days and as I'd scrap other layouts, I'd "find" something that would work on this one and so it just went into the pile until I couldn't stand it any longer and had to start putting it all down!!  Such fun to just put all that random stash stuff on a layout...and really...I used up lots of fun older stuff from my stash!!!  Double Whammy!!!  Use up stash & complete a fun layout!!!  Thanks for the inspiration Sarah!!  I'm telling you all...you need to try this...it was lots of fun!!!
