"Hello scrap friends!! I have a new layout for the Sketch Challenge # 48 plus the

WORD = CHARM

Create a layout inspired by this sketch and add a stash item from your stash that starts with each letter of the word - CHARM

Example - C - chipboard, H - heart, A - Arrow, R - Rub-on, M - mesh. 

Each item must be a "stash" item.

I did use:

C - Chipboard

H - Hearts and hearts patterned paper

A - Acetate (title)

R - Red Twine and Red Ric Rac

M - Metal Charm and Metal Star

 For today's inspiration, 
Designer Sherri created this beautiful fun layout 
inspired by the March sketch challenge:

Sherri said:

"This is a layout of my hubby and me having one of my favorite treats - a Dole Whip Float! We enjoyed this delicious frozen refreshment on our 2nd visit to Disneyland, in May of 2016. If you have never had one, it is a frozen pineapple "ice cream" ( it is non-dairy,) in fresh pineapple juice! YUM!!

I used the following items for the "CHARM" part of the Challenge:

C - Cardstock, Carved Pumpkin Distress Stain, Circle, Cocoa Vanilla Flair

H - Hearts, the Letter "H" in whip

A - Authentique - "Utopia" Collection, Alpha Stickers

R - Ranger Distress Stains, Ripped paper

M - Metal Flair Buttons, metal Brads / Cocoa Vanilla "Make a Wish" Flair

I cut the cup of Dole Whip from a photo. I love the little puffy pineapple sticker, and the pineapple paper too! Flair is my new favorite embellishment - and the pineapple one is just perfect for this layout!

"I chose C-Crate paper, H-Heart, A-Arrow, R-Ribbon, M-Metallic Texture Paste
This is a picture of my daughter after eating ice cream:) We were telling her she had some on her chin, but she was refusing to wipe it off! It was funny because she was hiding her arms behind her and told us she could lick them all off. She kept licking around her mouth but it never reached her chin...lol!!
I love saving pictures like this...the little things are so precious!!

Today, Designer Steffanie shares with us her wonderful layout

March Sketch Challenge:

Steffanie said:

"Hello there and welcome to the mid-month challenge! The word stash challenges are definitely among my favorites. 
Here is how mine worked out:
C - camera, circle tag, chipboard title
H - hearts, Heidi Swapp mist, hexagon print paper
A - arrow, American Crafts
R - red
M - mini- alpha stickers, machine-stitching (using thread from my stash)

I made just a few changes to the sketch. I flipped it horizontally which was directionally more appealing for my larger photo. I used two additional smaller photos instead of one square photo. I moved the title toward the top and added a journal spot below my large photo. The rest is pretty much the same. I machine-stitched a large circle this time. My go-to move often is to eliminate the circle...but this time I kept it and braved the machine!
Now it's your turn!"

"I recently purchased Carta Bella's Space Academy collection and it goes perfect with the many photos of my son & his robotics team. (Last night the team won regionals, and will be going to the World competition, so you may be seeing a few more pages with the robotics theme! Go Talon!) The journaling spaceship was handcut from DCWV metallic papers. Designer Tip: To highlight my son in this group, I added a speech bubble by him.

These tic/tac/toe challenges are so fun. They allow me the freedom to create any way I want and push me to up my game by including elements I might not have otherwise. Plus I use up more stuff from the stash - win-win! For this month's challenge, I used the center column: Striped paper, Gold & a Flair.

"I hope I can inspire you to join us for our Tic Tac Toe challenge this month. We have the word GOLD in the middle this time. Love golden details! 

I picked the diagonal row:

Mini alphas - gold - washi tape

I painted my background with some gold mist (you can´t see it that well in my photo though...). I found some perfect golden washi in my stash, yeah! 

The children in the picture are cousins. Three of them are my kids and the other two are my sister´s.

"Hi all!  Just popping in to inspire you for the current Tic Tac Toe challenge :)

My nephew can recite every dinosaur name that I've ever heard plus a fair few that I haven't - so awesome!

I've been holding back this paper until I had some photos of him to scrap - it's Crate Paper Cool Kid, and I also completed my line by using a flair and mini-alphas.

Love that there are so many different ways to complete these challenges!

"I love these challenges - there are so many ways to play along, use your stash, and get creative!! 

I used the 3 boxes down the center of the board -

Striped Paper - for the punched strip on the middle left, the tag, and the banner on the top right

Gold - Nuvo Indian Gold Mousse, gold embellies

Flair - My Mind's Eye "My Story" Collection Flair

I used the beautiful "MY STORY" Collection from My Mind's Eye. Many of the embellishments and even some of the papers already have gold on them. The photo is of my husband and me having dinner at the Blue Bayou Restaurant, in Disneyland. It was so cool inside, with the Pirates of the Caribbean ride all around us, and it was very delicious!

"When I saw this month's Tic Tac Toe challenge I immediately thought of the title "Lucky in Love" so I picked this goofy selfie that my hubby took. I then grabbed some bright papers and started cutting different sizes and layering them together on this striped background. As for the Tic Tac Toe part I did two...the middle vertical of 

Striped Paper, Gold & Flair 

and the diagonal of 

Washi Tape, Gold and Mini Alphas.

"I met the challenge with the top horizontal row---charm (I used two, metal fish and word "meow"), striped paper (which looks like lines but the actual name is "striped paper"), and washi tape (I used three different ones).

These papers goes way back....all the way to 2006! It's from Pebbles Inc.and has been in my stash FOR-EVER!! I even have stickers and die-cuts. I pulled a couple things from my Bella Blvd Riley collection kit (yellow print paper for tag, green tab sticker) but the rest is from Pebbles. Now THAT'S using your STASH "
