GIVEAWAY A DAY Contest!
Yesterday we introduced and/or reintroduced 4 of our Design Team members and today we have 4 more for you to meet. After meeting these 4 lovely ladies you will find today's giveaway and how to enter into the drawing for the giveaway.
So without further ado, meet:
Hi! My name is Michelle. I am a mother of 2 children: soon-to-be 6 year old girl & 3 year old boy,
3 dogs: my 13 year old Black & Tan Beagle, hubby's 9 year old Wheaten Terrier & our 1 year old Sheepdog. Will be married for 7 years in July. Scrapbooking has been an escape of sorts...which led to the name of my blog. Scrapbooking SOS I started scrapbooking back in 2004 when I took a class at a Local Scrapbook Store(LSS). It was slow going at first working on my bridal shower pages. BUT once I got some great travels/trips, married and the kids came I was hooked. I got into making cards with a group of scrappy friends doing monthly swaps. This Summer will mark our 3rd Summer since we moved from the Jersey Shore Area of NJ, USA to the St. John's Area of Newfoundland, Canada
Hi! I'm Lindsey and I've been scrapbooking for over 13 years. I'm mostly scrapbooking for my family, dh, ds & dd, but occasionally you'll see my dcs (dear canines) and other life-happenings as well. I
prefer to create simple, photo+stash+paper pages, but I've always said I'll try anything once in scrapbooking. I've been on a no-buy for a few years now, since my favorite kit club ended. However, I have a dream scrapbooking room and plenty of stash in it to last for a few more years. And then there's always Hobby Lobby... Thanks for coming by SOS; I believe scrapbooking supplies are meant to be timeless, so don't be afraid to bring anything back!
Sarah Cooper, Ottawa Ontario CANADA. 'Mommy' to 4 VERY active Boys & Wife to Greg. Solar-Powered Summer Person, Fueled by Starbucks. Macabre Fan and AVID Steampunk Enthusiast and proud GEEK, Comiccon is Heaven on Earth. I 'create' as much and as often as I can and read a LOT... perhaps too much... lol. Recent years have had me embracing many of the Celtic elements of my Scottish-Irish rooted heritage. This is often reflected in my Art work. Been making 'art' since I learned to finger-paint with my baby food on the wall... so my Mum tells me. Scrapbooking, Art Journaling, ATC’s, Cards and various other Mixed Media style things. Basically if I can get supplies, I’ll make ‘something’ with it. Reduce-Reuse and Redecorate is My Personal Mantra.
Hi, I'm Charlotta and I live in Sweden. I am married with no kids and work as a legal interpreter in Spanish/Swedish. I came across scrapbooking in Miami (yes on vacation) when I went into a Michael's store and became curious. Back here I started to investigate and did some introduction workshops. Now I'm hooked! I still don't have a specific style but I prefer bright colours and hesitate "destroying" my papers to do a vintage look. In the blogospere I call myself La Vikinga ("the viking" in Spanish) since I am Scandinavian.

Other than paper - my most hoarded item would probably be stamps!!!
ReplyDeleteRibbon and Thickers!!
ReplyDeleteRight now other than paper would be washi tape! Love that stuff, but can't bring myself to use it much!
ReplyDeleteWhoo hoo! What a sweet Surprise!! Thanks so much...:) xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteBesides paper, I hoard ribbon!
ReplyDeleteBesides paper I tend to hoard my big bling flourishes. Love 'em but don't use them much.
ReplyDeleteI meant to add...congrats to the new DT!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the DT team! Hoarding scrapbooking supplies -- oh my gosh -- this could be a new reality show! In all seriousness, I think it is hard to throw anything away as a crafter/scrapper. I would have to say that I hoard ribbon, alpha stickers (always looking for new ways to use up the alpha stickers), and buttons.

ReplyDeleteI have far too much ribbon. I do try to use it, but it never seems to look right.
ReplyDelete(PS I follow you privately rather than publicly, don't know whether you can actually see me as a follower or not, but I am one.)
This looks super exciting! Can't wait to see what's in store for the SOS blog!!
ReplyDeleteRight now my most hoarded item is washi tape. I have way more than I use, but I'm totally addicted.
Hi there!! Congrats to the design team. I would say I hoard embellishments such as flowers, ribbon, stickers and more. Now am into dusty attic and prima shabby chic treasures collections. Thanks for the chance to win.

I tend to hoard Border punches. I need to get my hands on as many as I possibly can, love them! You'll rarely see a card I made where I didn't end up using one. I'm a follower.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Rosalee
Besides paper, I tend to hoard ribbon, washi tape, buttons & flowers. I have more than I will probably ever use. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteohhh goodness other than paper? I would have to say some of my bling! I just LOVE sparkly stuff! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm.....what don't I hoard!? That would be the easier question! I hoard buttons! (Well, actually I use my buttons because I have tons of them--but I also keep buying them-so I don't think my supply ever dwindles!) LOL I guess I would have to say the decorative brads and the premade labels/diecuts etc that come with collections. I love how people layer them and everything, but then I go to use them and want to save some to use with the rest of the papers!
ReplyDeleteLike others, I'm thinking of what don't I hoard?! Ribbon, twine, and now washi are my biggest ones after paper. Oh, and bling, lots and lots of bling!
ReplyDeleteTeeny cute embellishments.

I love my small plain chipboard pieces that I cover with papers, inks and paints. The circle and pennant(flag) shapes are the ones that I use the most and am running low on, so I tend to save them for that "special" layout. I hate to use them all up. Not sure where I got them, but my stash is running low.
ReplyDeleteI must say it would be Washi tape. But my supply of washi still pales in comparison to my patterned paper!
ReplyDeleteI just became a follower....and I recently, like Debbie....have developed quite the hoarded amount of Washi Tape!....oh...and I hoard buttons....Something like 4 mason jars full :)
ReplyDeleteBesides papers, i hoard swirl bling.. beacuse i love them so much i dont want to use it..LOL.
