April SPRING FLING Challenge by Elizabeth

Design Team Member Elizabeth submitted this layout for the April SPRING FLING Challenge.  She said:

Spring 2011: on a walk to the sub Post Office near my home in Ayr, Scotland, I was knocked out by the blossom on the trees that lined the road, and luckily I had my trusty camera on hand to record it. The red candles on the Chestnut were gorgeous and the pink cherry blossom very pretty, but it was the froth of white May blossom (the Hawthorn) that was particularly splendiferous - and definitely have a 'Spring Fling' :)

The pattern paper I've used is from several sources, Fancy Pants (the base) DCWV (for journaling spot) and Ciao Bella (the photo mat and the fussy cut flower panel at the top). The alphas, doily lace trim, ribbon, leaf trim, flowers and leaves are all from my stash. Most of the alphas I haven't altered at all, but the P and O were of plain wood so I've embossed them with two coats of plain pink powder and one coat of WOW sparkly powder, Magenta Twinkle.
