Pagerize Christy By Dawn

Reader Dawn submitted this layout for the Pagerize This Challenge. She said, "a friend recently directed me to your blog and I thought "what a great idea!" I was immediately drawn to Christy's Let's Eat LO; the design, the colors, everything was so cool! So, I really stayed true to it when I pagerized it!

My son is 5 years old and loves, loves, loves anything creepy and crawly. He has told everyone that he is going to be an entomologist when he grows up (he knows the word and how to say it correctly!). He has a special affinity for snails and the little darlings just love to crawl on him. One morning after seeing his big sister onto the bus, he found this HUGE snail. It stayed in its shell for only a couple of seconds and then started crawling all over his hand (note the slime trail in the bottom picture! Ew!). He insisted on bringing his new friend home to put in our garden.

Supplies:

Brown cardstock: Bazzill Basics Mud Pie
All patterned paper: Basic Grey Archaic Line (big circle ring was cut with the Martha Stewart circle cutter)
Snail Die cut: Silhouette
Rub ons: Basic Grey Archaic Line
Rub on letters: Making Memories
Stitching template: Bazzill
Embroidery floss: DMC
Flower chipboard accents: unknown
Round and stone chipboard accents: Basic Grey Archaic Line
Title chipboard accent: Jen Wilson Laundry Line Coastal Lucky

Thanks so much for this opportunity to play and for the inspiration! I will become a frequent visitor to your blog!

Take care,
